I've also made a mix of that song in my own way.We can make a bonus ep ourselves with the reduxes/remixes from the guys in the community. There's plenty of them that are great, like this one here and Groovefunkel's Human Nature extended take.
or....So my bet for the 4K vids is
1 . Thriller
2. Beat It
3. Billie Jean
4. Say Say Say
5. Complete HD Victory concert
Ha, I wish. What do you think it'll be the 5th one?
Hi I have sent you a message in pm.Great post. Agree entirely - It was like they are stuck in the middle and was some sort of pre-commitment to do but they just couldn't be bothered. As you say, appealing to a new fanbase promotion needs to be heavy. they are barely even tweeting/IG'ing it.
Sony is an easy scapegoat because fans refuse to acknowledge that MJ was also wrong back in 2001. They absolutely have a hand in marketing, but the estate oversees the social media accounts and promotional events. The estate deserves the blame for this.Hi I have sent you a message in pm.
I don't think that the estate are who should be kicked for this it's more Sony.
It would be nice if we could get a communication going with the estate.
It'd be dope, but I highly doubt itMaybe this?
I feel they'd fit a box set idea if it was done like Queen's The Miracle one.I dunno, I feel like these are also a waste of space and resources. As promo singles? Sure. But if they start saying, “Buy a new mix of ‘Billie Jean’!” I’m not biting.
100% sure that if there is a hi-res version (there will be one, most likely.) It will be the exact same as the standard 16-bit version. So... block of sound. The absence of Thriller40 on HDtracks makes me believe there'll be also a 24/96 version, that's to be announced very soon. Hopefully it'll be not compressed to death.
Notice that there are already sub lyrics, but not yet a 4k music videos that will be updated soon.
no. everything out there, untouched or not, is crap.
If there are five then the last two might be Bad era short films. So my bet for the 4K vids is
1 . Thriller
2. Beat It
3. Billie Jean
4. Say Say Say
5. Complete HD Victory concert

enjoy your crappy destroyed video.Yeah you're right I enjoy his jacket looking orange in the original video, it looks much better.
maybe they doing 2 tribute videos for two of the other songs, with these anoying dancers, like in the past.If there are five then the last two might be Bad era short films.
enjoy your crappy destroyed video.![]()
the video as one is crap. like all the others. and i dont know why you're being such an ass.I didn't say I thought the remaster looked good, I said the colour looks more pleasing to me than the orange tint of the original, don't know why you're being such an ass.
I don't think so. Say Say Say sounds like a realistic possibility to me, both that and Beat It directed by same directorIf there are five then the last two might be Bad era short films.
Well, the difference is Macca. The 35mm masters are owned by him since the song is his.I don't think so. Say Say Say sounds like a realistic possibility to me, both that and Beat It directed by same director
Yeah I don't know why but I feel like we won't be getting that for this reason.Well, the difference is Macca. The 35mm masters are owned by him since the song is his.
But the point is, Thriller and its solo singles are intimately connected with The Jacksons and that tour. Those live versions were just catalogue releases - all sourced from an already released LP (The Jacksons Live '81).
Even in that compressed 360p video you can see a huge difference
me too. cause it have to be Thriller related. It makes no sense to mix that with Bad. Just creates confusion.I don't think so. Say Say Say sounds like a realistic possibility to me, both that and Beat It directed by same director
