Michael's makeup appreciation thread

I think at this stage I'm celebrating Michael's eyebrows as much as his beautiful make-up, lol.

no no you are right it is 93 , im having a moment lovely lol
oh, just to be clear. I wasn't trying to turn this into a competition. It's just that particular moment in the Russian orphanage footage is one of my top, top fave moments. I mean, really hard to pick from that video. The entire thing is a top fave. But, still, that actual, precise moment - cannot tell you how many hundreds of times I've done the rewind at that exact moment. You know, just the way he's joshing with Karen and then the kids start singing and he's suddenly SO attentive. I dunno, his face at that precise moment ... it just really gets me.

I do get caught up trying to pinpoint the colours used on his eyelids. Def some kind of grey-blue thing going on, imo. Seen it several times. Especially in the 1990's. The colour palette in the 1980's I would describe as neutral but, of course, it's all lovely warm colours. Brown, orangey-brown, caramel brown. Plus some blush pink. But also a bit of grey-blue on the lids, I'm sure of it. Just a touch.

Then in the 90's bc his skin tone is paler she goes for more cool tones and I think we see the grey-blue more often. Yesterday I was looking at one which seemed almost lilac-blue-grey. But I could be wrong or it could just be the way the colour photo was processed or reproduced. Difficult to know.

do you have the lilac blue at hand ?
yeah i def think that is a cold steel grey blue thats all i can think of and i have not really seenthat about so couldnt recreate do you know what i mean its very deep , cos you think its black off hand but its not and im glad someone can see that it is blueish grey and not my eyes lol

its not even colbalt blue is it i? d pin that as iron / thunder lol

@zinniabooklover you really made me think zin whjen you said pensive cos theres a pattern for me there thats extremely true of my taste in photos
Yes! Especially when it comes to photos of Michael. I do seem to be more drawn to the ones I see as pensive. It's not that they are depressing but there's just something about the quality of them ... the feel of them ...

Even with landscapes I'm more likely to go for something brooding or mystical or quiet rather than something bright and sunshiney.
