Opinions on "Someone Put Your Hand Out"?

The demo version has grown on me recently.

I think the song would've been a nice addition to the album had BAD been released as a 2-LP album.

This is one bonus track that I really wish would show up on DSPs proper. I can imagine this one blowing up very easy.

I love the song. Dangerous had hardly any slower songs, so it shouldn't have been taken out from the album's original configuration.

Although now I am older I don't really think Pepsi was the sponsor to go with, even at the time. Michael with his healthy lifestyle, mentally, spiritually and physically promoting such an unhealthy product while having so many young fans...

I know, the answer is always money, but imo his legacy could even be bigger if he had gone with a healthy sponsor or sponsors

Interesting thought ...
Thinking back to the 80s, I cannot remember any healthy sponsors that were huge, at least here in northern Europe. Few people just started running or doing aerobics, but were mostly seen as eccentric nutters lolol. People were wondering: Who gets up early on Sunday morning to run through the woods. Working out was something for pimps and weirdos when I grew up, let alone those unthinkable "Pflanzenfresser" plant eaters (vegetarian was not even a term) lolol.

Im am so glad that changed, though!!!!

I agree

Back in the 1980's and 1990's no one cared about soda / soft drinks being unhealthy. In fact Soda Stream where you could make your own soda at home was a big thing.

Stuff like this bugs me, as its not right to project the 2024 backlash against soda onto things like Pepsi being a sponsor of Michaels tours.

It’s not a song that I listen to very often but I can’t deny that it is a gorgeous song that features some of Michael’s best vocals.

I can see why it wasn’t released on Dangerous, but I wish that it was released on an album.
