well this is the saddest shit I've ever readPossibly he owns all the Cascio songs and didn't want these to be worth nothing.
I remember getting frustrated with a user called Ivy many years ago who thought exactly the same. She was adamant that it was MJ and our hearing was shot.Slightly off topic, but I find it absolutely hilarious that Korgnex genuinely believes that the Cascio tracks are legitimate MJ songs.
I first heard the album in 2011, i could tell they were fake back then.I remember getting frustrated with a user called Ivy many years ago who thought exactly the same. She was adamant that it was MJ and our hearing was shot.
It is, very repetitive though.“If You Don’t Love Me” is a banger and I won’t accept criticism of it. I would’ve loved to see it on XSCAPE.
When I heard the song for the first time, it made me feel so happy. But of course you would have to shorten it to 3 minutes.“If You Don’t Love Me” is a banger and I won’t accept criticism of it. I would’ve loved to see it on XSCAPE.
I assume Bottrell's contribution didn't fit LA Reid's criteria of completely reimagining MJ songs.“If You Don’t Love Me” is a banger and I won’t accept criticism of it. I would’ve loved to see it on XSCAPE.
I would say that this would have been the best mix of the album.I assume Bottrell's contribution didn't fit LA Reid's criteria of completely reimagining MJ songs.
I would love to hear the differences between the remixes Bill made for Michael and Xscape, can't imagine they sound so different if they follow the same idea of polishing up existing mixes instead of remixing the song entirely.I assume Bottrell's contribution didn't fit LA Reid's criteria of completely reimagining MJ songs.
This sums up If You Don't Love Me perfectly, it makes you feel happy as the listener. It's not deep or a heavy subject, it's just a fun pop song. When I heard the song for the first time, it made me feel so happy. But of course you would have to shorten it to 3 minutes.
Makes sense, which is just pathetic because those songs are worth nothing to nearly all MJ fans and collectors regardless of what he thinks.Possibly he owns all the Cascio songs and didn't want these to be worth nothing.
Korgnex’s case is even funnier though because he at one point bragged about his supposedly more experienced ears and how no MJ impersonator could ever fool him to fans back when Michael was released.I remember getting frustrated with a user called Ivy many years ago who thought exactly the same. She was adamant that it was MJ and our hearing was shot.
Given the despair of how little unpublished music the estate has given us so far, I can even understand thatMJ fans - the only music community to attempt to raid the united states copyright offices to hear unfinished tracks.

MJSTAR definitely were. They were deleting articles and I'm sure a few of them got given preview tickets to see The Immortal show before opening night.Do you remember how it was known how the estate was employing shills to say the Cascio tracks were real? Im pretty sure Ivy was one of those stooges
They're not bad. But I still consider the holy grail to be Buffalo Bill, Tomboy, and Make or Break. BAD era outtakes.I really don't like it, Adore You, Monster and that little edited snippet from Rocker impressed me the most.
Still, it's amazing that we've heard four of the tracks that were part of the holy grail
It is the quintessential unique MJ song I had been wanting in the 21st century.I'm absolutely obsessed with 'Water'. It's such an ear worm. To think we only have 15 seconds of it!
MJ was definitely on to something with that one.
It's actually a good evolution of his songwriting; just this one hook is catchy in a way stuff hasn't been aside from his biggest hits: Shake Your Body, WBSS, Beat It, Human Nature, Remember The Time, Smooth Criminal, Black or White, Billie Jean.“Water” is so simple, but as a little preview of how MJ’s songwriting skills held up, it’s goddamn impressive. Super catchy. I’m dying to hear more of his post-trial originals. That, to me, is the golden era because so little is known.
Indeed; I’m especially curious to see how MJ’s music from that time period holds up to today’s stuff in terms of production.“Water” is so simple, but as a little preview of how MJ’s songwriting skills held up, it’s goddamn impressive. Super catchy. I’m dying to hear more of his post-trial originals. That, to me, is the golden era because so little is known.
One of their best decisions methinks. Keep Pharrell and his Fisher Price keyboard as far away from anything MJ as possible. Why hasn't the Estate offered to let Pharrell to do a project? I think his sensibilities would line up much more naturally than Timbaland, and he loves MJ on top of that.
Maybe that's not his speed though.
Yeah I guess it was meant to sound like a Motown/Phil Sspector-type track, maybe the Dap Kings could help outFor If you Don't Love Me, I think it needs an even breezier, lighter instrumentation. It needs to go full bubblegum pop.
Downright terrible and uninformed opinion. It isn't 2002 anymore. One of their best decisions methinks. Keep Pharrell and his Fisher Price keyboard as far away from anything MJ as possible.
