Probably like this album, it came out a couple of years before Dangerous (1989). Al B. Sure! said in an interview that his part on The Secret Garden (from the Black On The Block album) was originally supposed to be sung by Mike, but there was scheduling conflicts. Quincy's 1995 album after this (O's Jook Joint) was more jazz based. I don't think Mike would have done that sound.
