Important to note that these songs are almost certainly not complete. We know that “Seven Digits” is scratch vocals, so this seems to be some degree of hyperbole on the part of the man who located them. I would assume “complete” more so means “has vocals all the way through,” even if said vocals are mumbled.

🤨

Sounds too fake to be true. lol
Could be fake but these things do happen. Sometimes! :)

"A collection of cassette tapes containing a host of unreleased Marvin Gaye songs has been found in the Belgian city of Ostend.

It has potentially lain hidden in Belgium for over 40 years, according to the BBC.

The collection, thought to contain 66 demo songs, belonged to the musician Charles Dumolin, in whose home Gaye stayed in 1981 as he underwent detox to fight cocaine addiction. When Dumolin died in 2019, the recordings were handed down to his family, along with a cache of Gaye memorabilia.

Debate has begun over whether Dumolin’s family have the right to keep the material."

I remember Pressure was one of those titles mentioned way back in the late 90s, along with Triple Threat Cable, being worked on for Invincible.
I was going to say Pressure too.. just forgot the title. Can't recall the second title there but who knows how this one will pan out.

This makes me wanna rummage our ancient basement lol. Who knows?

So just crappy demos he did with Bryan Loren, some of which have already leaked.

They know the tracks, they are simply not interested, and Loren has had a very difficult relationship with the Estate in past years.

I like Bryan's work tbh. I think 'Do The Bartman' tainted his sound to 'goofy' instead of funky but I think Michael would have sounded great on these songs, it's definitely the Minneapolis and R'n'B sound it is said he was looking for:

BTW: 'Ain't that what chu want' is basically Man in Black vs. Streetwalker

IMO, he just comes across as a weaker version of Jam & Lewis.
