Hope you like the costume. Took me 1 year and a half to complete it with the help of some very talented FX artists. But I'll be honest, I was glad to be out of that thing once I got home. My body was begging to breath.
I have more pics to sort out so I can share them.
Hope the rest had fun on this bizarre night. lol.
Hollywood people are nuts! :dancing:

Wow, your costume looks great, Nar! Nice one! :D

Nar you look great!!!!! Amazing costume! I love Batman! :)

wow...great costume....I am so glad that you had such a great time......you did a fantastic job making it....:)

hehehe thanks everyone! Let's do the bat dance! ..ok maybe not. lol.

I'm actually sore all over my body right now. That costume was heavy and hot. >_< quite a work out to be moving around in for....4 - 5 hours. 0_o
But I'm glad I got it 100% finished. The reason it looks pretty realistic is because the mask itself is a direct copy of the actual cowl worn by Michael Keaton, or possibly even his stunt double Dave Lea, back in 1989. My friend whom I got this from paid a lot for the real one and restored it to new. :)

The bat emblem and belt are also cast from the real parts used in the film.
I made my under tunic out of spandex material coated with a thin layer of latex, just like in the film. And I also made my boots from Nikes just like the film haha.
I made the cape by first sewing 8 panels of fabric together, then gave it about 4 coats of latex with texture to look leathery.
The body armor was hand sculpted by Robert Dullam who is known for making Batmobile replicas. I was really fortunate to have his work.

The gloves and boot armor are leather replicas made by a couple FX artists.
This is the most ambitious Halloween project ever. And I don't think I can go and do something like this again for a looong time. lol.

Thanks again everyone! Glad you enjoyed the funny pics. Here's a couple more to wrap it up.
