A final word from me before the support forum closes

Dear All,

Before the support forum closes I just wanted to say a final few things.

Firstly, The support from members in this side of the forums has been phenominal. I admire and am overwhelemed by the love people have shown others in these threads and each time I read a post filled with love I am given more hope that this world is a beautiful place filled with amazing people. We truely are getting closer and closer to making this world a better place.

Secondly, to those who need further support, always remember there are people in this world who care and understand. NO ONE is ever alone. Please breath in the messages of support from you family in MJJC. Look for love wherever you turn, and remember that tomorrow is a new day, with new opportunities and beginnings.

Further More, take advantage of the groups and chat facilities that are being set up. For the time being until I have dealt with my own loss, I myself can not be a part of a PUBLIC support group, this may change in the future, but at the moment I can only offer myself as personal support. If anyone ever needs anything, please feel free to contact me and I will climb mountains to offer you the peer-to-peer support I can.

Please remember you are all so full of love, no matter where you are in life or how you are feeling, you matter, even the smallest act of kindness can mean the world of difference to someone.

I love you all with all of my heart, and Michael will be so proud of all of you.

What you wrote is so true. You're such a sweet girl, thankyou. Also, I'd just like to say that I will also support absolutely anybody that needs a bit of a boost or whatever, my PM box is always open and I love you all.
 
Тhe support forum will be closed?? But why? It gave me so much hope and strenght during the hard period. Since June i cannot imagine not reading here when i feel down. And now it will be closed...?

MJJC has had to think of ALL the membership, and some were very distressed to see the extreme threads in here. They were reminding them of grief, over-and-over. During the trial MJJF (that became MJJC) had a Support Board that was entirely separate from the major board. This will be similar. The primary difference is that the new board will be fan-generated and supported, and not an affiliate of MJJC. But support WILL continue, ok? Same people, same discussions, hopefully? Sign up NOW, please.

Im not sure catherine, perhaps speak to a mod who is aware of this situation such as Victoria?

deni_avr, yes the support forum will be closing. This is a decision made by Gaz for very valid reasons. As Victoria as said there will still be support for members who need it in a fan made forum, you can find all details here : http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/sh...t=81534&page=8

support will continue, but not in a public capacity such as this, to protect both posters looking for support and other members of MJJC.

Any information or posts that you wish to keep for reference, please copy and paste onto your computer as you will not have access to them once the support forum is taken down. I do hope that no one feels let down and understand that this is a decision made by Gaz to protect all members of MJJC. I am not MJJC staff but i DO understand the reasons behind the decision and fully support it.

I have already posted a link in the GD thread "Transitioning from the support forum." We can keep that thread bumped up?

For the sake of peace, though, my recommendation would be to admit those who have posted (kindly) here, but not necessarily those who have not, without some discussion between your board's admin?

I want to make sure there will be a ZERO tolerance to abuse and importantly encouragement of unhealthy behavior. I have already spoken to Thrillerchild/Stephen about this and will only be a member of staff if this is the case.

The issues and subjects dealt with in these forums are highly sensitive and open to legal complications if not dealt with correctly, ~i do not in ANY way want to discourage this support network or its peer2peer councilling but it MUST be moderated with steady head and hand, and any issues dealt with promptly and sensitively.
 
And that's the way it's going to be done Dannii :) Once you're registered we can arrange things with you more :)
