They've already released an excellent remix album, Immortal, so why remix the same songs again just a few months later? I'm hoping for unreleased songs and demos...

I suppose, but there are not many Bad songs on the album, I can only think of SC.MITM,Bad

I Believe The BAD25 Album like The Thriller25 will contain all the original songs. Then some unreleased songs, some new remixes , and short audios of those involved in the project speaking about it. They will also release a DVD of Bad tour and will have various special packages with extras available to purchase.

I really hope they don't do this...It's a waste of precious space lol...Unless they're going to talk about things we don't already know about, there's really no need....Use that space for UNRELEASED stuff...PLEASE! :D

Estate, can I request a 70 disc DVD set (or alternatively 35 disc blu-ray) of the entire second leg with every concert? I know it's a huge order, but I hope you can fulfill my request. I want to see as much of Michael as possible in all his Bad glory. :)

I am not asking much.

Just a life-size hologram of all Michael Jackson's videos from BAD as well as the holographic concert (and please make them interactive).

It goes without saying that I'd like a THX 9.2 sound surround system.

I hope they release Moowalker on Blu Ray for NA....this was an important part of the Bad Era. And membe the Sega game for the new consoles.

Moonwalker is already out on blu ray..But not in the U.S, right? :)

And I thought they were going to do that w IMMORTAL and when I heard they wouldn't do it, I was disappointed.

They are not going to do it? I thought that they said that in the main show of Immortal, they were going to use the latest technology with holograms and stuff.

Yes, i thought that also but when we were discussing the Immortal tour someone said that they are going to use holograms for the regular show and not the tour. I don't know man. With this estate i'm not sure about anything.

Holograms are amazing! But I don't know how I'd feel...It'd be pretty bittersweet...You know, it'd be like this rush of excitement when he comes onstage...And then a let-down when you really think about the fact that it's not real...It's like, let the performances that he did do in the flesh be sacred and just let his spirit live on...I don't know...It'd be an emotional roller coaster for sure...I guess it's just one of those things that you have to experience in order to know how you'd really feel about it...I think that I would have wanted to experience Michael in an 'all or nothing' type of fashion...That magical way of experiencing him when he actually performed...That's sacred to me....I guess if this were to be a reality, an actual tour or concert or whatever and I had the chance to go, I'd still probably go lol

madonna did the same at the grammys 2006 for 1min with gorillaz.

but how did they do it with 2pac? was that a cgi of him or old recording of some concert. the quality isn't very good to tell.

if michael was recorded on film (and we know he was) with the front camera for the whole show, then we can have such experience too.

Elvis was actually already on a world tour this year, but instead of a hologram he was displayed on a screen while a band performs on stage. http://www.elvis.com/events/concert_tours.aspx

I would be too. When the lights go out, it'd be them going out on MJ again and reliving June 25th. Maybe in 10 or 15 years, it wouldn't bother me. But right now, it's all still too raw.

Well, you watch your VHS with 1.0 mono sound, and I'll watch my hologram with 9.2 DTS or dolby surround. :D

I know this whole hologram talk is a lil bit off topic for this thread but im surprised the cirque du soleil team didnt use a hologram for the immortal tour. If they had i reckon it would've been great

This isn't a Hologram. It's a projection. It could only been seen properly by those sitting directly in front of it and ir has to be reall dark to be seen at all. This was considered for IWT, but it might not have work with all the lights and LED screens.

Yes, I knew Hologram wasn't its proper name, it's just that everyone in the media call it like that to make it more juicy, "projection" doesn't sound so cool :D
And yes, that could be 1 possible reason why it wasn't use in the Immortal tour.
Thanks for the explanation :)

I still think this technology will be use soon in more concerts and still feel a little disappointed it didn't make it to the Immortal tour.
