theres quite a big differencnce cause bad is missing 6 years of sales in compaired to dangerous.so once those are added on plus another 8 years

Keep in mind that Sony BMG didn't pay RIAA for certifications in ages. 7 and 8 million copies are kind of old data.

I'm 100% sure Dangerous has been selling at least 10 million copies in the US alone.

^^ Dangerous did beat Bad for sometimes..

But Bad album boosts just enough to go over Dangerous..

It was (BAD 28 million/DANGEROUS 28.5 million)

At one point Dangerous sold 1 million more than Bad (world figures).. then Bad up'd Dangerous by selling 1.5 million and went .5 million more than Dangerous..

from last updates..

(BAD 32 million/ Dangerous 30.5 million) just 1.5 million short..

So if there was another surge.. lets say THRILLER 25 type sales to add to Dangerous it would tie, or could beat it.. :)

I personally WISH Dangerous sold more, simply because it does not get as much attention (AT ALL)..

But u know, when you are in the 30 million mark, 1-2 million does not make a difference. lol! they sold basically the same..

the albums are probably a couple million more than that.. I would guess mid 30 mill. around 36 mill.

These are the last known datas which means old data. I'm pretty sure Dangerous and Bad have been selling a lot more so far...I agree with your last conclusion

If I were to guess exact #'s now..

BAD - 36 million

Dangerous - 34 million

I notice that Dangerous album gets more sale spikes, but Bads spikes are larger than Dangerous..

Like Dangerous would have a sudden spike after a 'best of' is released, or just pure random.. where Bad gets big spikes after TV specials, and big events..

So this is why I would still believe Bad out-sells Dangerous..

well also because it just gets more attention overall.. People that have not listened to either of the album would pick BAD up first simply because they have heard of the title, and know more about it.
