I do think there are some serious problems with the shipments. I don't know if they manufactured too few copies, or what the problem is, but something is wrong if fans all over the world complain about supply problems. Individual stores just not ordering enough copies might explain it if there were problems only in some stores, but it seems the same problems are everywhere. Either stores never had the box sets, or they were quickly sold out. Maybe the demand for an anniversary edition like this isn't very high, but it seems clear to me that the demand is higher than the supply now.I just thought of something.. I am thinking that they only shipped a certain amount perhaps to protect the "current" artist or they just dropped the ball on shipping a mass quantity of albums, I know Thriller 25 sold a hell of a lot more than Bad 25 in it's first week so what is going on?
BTW, I hate that yahoo article. Why is it always mentioned that Bad didn't sell as much as Thriller? What album has sold as much as Thriller? If we go by the logic that selling less than Thriller=flop, then every album by every artist ever is a gigantic flop. But no, of course it's only Michael whose sales are disappointing if he doesn't at least double Thriller's sales every time he releases an album.
