Hot topic Brad Sundberg Seminars: Making Music With Michael Jackson

I’d give anything to have a mix down of this version. The groove is absolutely mental.

“Monkey Business” definitely doesn’t fit on Dangerous, but I wish it could’ve at least been a one-off single. It’s one of the most interesting tunes MJ ever made, with some extraordinary production. I’d have loved to hear a full Bill Bottrell/MJ album.
Agreed. This version is somehow even better than what we got on The Ultimate Collection. The vocals going “down, down, down” are great. One of the best unreleased songs, I would say.

I've been thinking about this mix since I watched the video lol. We need it!

Monkey Business doesn't fit in Dangerous album? Hell, no. It fits perfectly! Such a shame Michael decided to keep this song unreleased. It is a banger! It could be a pretty decent single with cool music video. Just imagine Michael shooting video for this song in Neverland, where he could dance with his monkey Bubbles.... That could blow the head off the world... We lost such masterpiece....

I live between Montreal and NYC. Brad is going to Montreal in March but it doesn't seem like there will be any special guest so I will pass. I've already been to 3 seminars.

He is going to NYC in May and says there might be a surprise. So I might attend that one...

Yes I love telling stories about my two decades with Michael, but I'm finally getting serious about teaching the recording techniques we used to capture his sound. I am so excited to bring this lecture to Orange Termek Studio in Budapest this weekend! http://inthestudiowithmj.com

Hasn't he already done something like this? I thought he'd done sessions where he gets the attendees to have a go at using some of the equipment? Really low-key stuff, I imagine.

Hope he has good insurance, ha! 😁 😅

I just remembered when MJ was having a tea cup on the mixing console during a session with Bruce (leaked video from Brad, I think 🫣) and people in the comments were going nuts about it lmaoooo

Dang it! That's on the board somewhere, isn't it? I can't remember which thread. This one? 🤨

 *thinks* Ohh, they were listening to Jam in that footage ....

:) He has a cup with the tea bag still hanging from it AND a huuuuge spoon in it .... which adds to the danger of possible tipping the cup over by accident lolol

Are we gonna be in trouble for linking / posting this footage here?

idk! I was thinking of a different clip. I vaguely remember everyone going mental over this stuff when it came out and I wasn't getting involved so I don't know if it's allowed or not. You can always delete it if it's not supposed to be here.

Anyway ... Bruce !!!!!!!! Yay, Bruce !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😊
