I love this song so much.

Psalm 91:11
“For He shall give His angels charge over you,To keep you in all your ways.”

Heavenly father. We Pray for the protection of Paris Jackson from the attacks of the enemy. For the protection of her heart from the lies of the world and those with evil intentions. We pray for the protection of her faith from the deceptive schemes of of the evil one. We Pray for the protection of ungodly influence, unsavory friends and peer pressure. We Pray for protection over the things she sees, hears and comes in contact with. We Pray for her to have discernment and wisdom to know and walk in what is right. We pray for her to be surrounded with your angels, your love and the love of those who genuinely care for her well being. In Jesus name Amen

Was He just a man? Or Something more?
One man's life changed the course of history for billions of people across the globe. He is both revered and reviled, famed and feared and you know who he is without a single mention of his name.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here?

For my Christian friends and those who have ears to hear. As a follower of Christ, we need to forgive because we are children of the most high God and that is what he requires of us. Forgiveness does not say those who have done wrong are right or that we shouldn't stand against evil. What is does is releases us from being the judge and turns them over to God for true justice. He is the only one to provide true justice because only he knows a mans heart and the beginning to end. We do not.

We pray they don't cause harm to us or others and that they will turn from their evil ways. We pray that God will change their heart. Our prayer for the sinner should not be with ill will or malice, but for their redemption/salvation, because we too have been forgiven and redeemed. If not then Jesus died in vain. He came to teach us and he died to save the sinner and the lost, not the righteous. We can only forgive because it is placed in our hearts by God and it is our new nature in Christ through the holy spirit. If we cant then we should pray and revaluate our relationship with our father/God.

Do not give those who have harmed you or do wrong, power over you or cause you to stumble as well. Always Stand against Evil, Conquer it with love in your heart and Know that God knows your pain, he will comfort you and dry your tears and his justice will always prevail. We will be victorious by following him as his children. :heart:

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

I love Jesus.

God our Father,
Walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses; and please watch over and heal my family in Jesus' name. Amen.

A scripture that has often given me strength when I thought I'd run out. I like saying it as a prayer.

Psalm 143
1 Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
2 Do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight no one living is righteous.
3 For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.
4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.
5 I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
6 I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah
7 Answer me speedily, O Lord;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,
Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.
8 Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.
9 Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
In You I take shelter.[a]
10 Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.
11 Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake!
For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 In Your mercy cut off my enemies,
And destroy all those who afflict my soul;
For I am Your servant.

Amen. :agree:

My boyfriend showed me this the other night, and I'd like to share it for anyone who's interested. This guy has some good points and thoughts.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

I'm burnt out on religion, but I do acknowledge the presence of Jesus, his Father and believe they are real. Mankind is not the top of the food chain. There is something greater than ourselves.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

One of my favorite passages.

"28 Do you not know?

Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
(Isaiah 40:28-31)

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

What a wonderful thread. I definitely believe in God. God is real and he is my Savior.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

One of my favorites, I grew with this one..

Psalm 100 (kjv)

100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

I love it because it breaks down what it means to be Christian (to me) in a few short verses. Rejoice in the life that we've been blessed with, know there's more than just "us", celebrate when the time calls, give reverence when the time calls, and ultimately the generations will wax and wane, but real truth and goodness are eternal. :heart:
