Conrad Murray News and discussion thread [No Links allowed]

They do have an impact and it's deluded to think otherwise.
On Mj's facebook page last year on MJ's 6th anniversary there were more than 9000 comments and 471 000 likes.
This year after the child porn story only 4500 comments and 153 000 likes..

I don't want to discuss this again. Album sales numbers, how well Cirque ONE etc does to me demonstrates that those negative stories doesn't have much impact. Like I said a million times before people have already made up their minds about MJ good or bad long long time ago when he was alive. Nothing said and done right now will cause a major shift.

Your logic about facebook likes etc is also flawed. You cannot factually claim any decline was due to the allegations. It is also possible that people's interest in MJ have spiked right after his death and that interest is dropping as time goes on. This is a trend seen with all deceased celebrities. Such as when Elizabeth Taylor died. Suddenly there is a huge interest in her, her popularity becomes really high, her estate makes hundreds of millions but then the following years you see a trend of decline and then it levels.

@michaeljackson 's Dr Conrad Murray's This Is It book is available at xxxx

God, there are some many sick people out there with no moral compass at all:puke:

Somebody should tweet him that Conrat is no doctor and his licence's were taken away. He is just plain murderous sociopath.

Nothing said and done right now will cause a major shift.

You forget that people discover MJ every day all over the world, kids, young people and they can be influenced
by ""new" stories like these. Casual fans too, those who just liked his music but were on the fence or
simply didn't believe it because they thought there was no proof. Now they heard that there was child porn
and since there was no effective narrative to counter it many believed it.

No, I didn't compare 2009 and 2016 numbers but 2015 and 2016.
There was no trend of likes and comments doing down before Jun 20.
There is a clear drop after June 20.

So once he is visiting hookers, then he is a virgin. Alright.

I'm sure Murray would say yes he wanted hookers but he only wanted them to dance.

Well done @singersroom for CONDEMNING #conradmurray's book! #Respect #exposemurray

SMH: Conrad Murray Writes Tell-All Book About Former Patient Michael Jackson, Calls It ‘This Is It’

As if he wasn’t one of the most hated men in the world already: Michael Jackson’s former doctor Conrad Murray is prepping the release of a tell-all book about his superstar patient called (get this) “This Is It,” the same name of MJ’s final tour that never happened due to his medical negligence.
Murray was convicted of manslaughter for MJ’s 2009 death, and served four years in an L.A. prison, but now he’s trying to profit off of the man’s death that he was convicted of murdering by spilling the beans of MJ’s alleged romps with Vegas call girls, dressing up as a clown, and faking accents to get dates with women.

The kicker is this: Murray claims Michael wanted him to come out with this information.
I’m going to need Conrad to have several seats…

If you go back to the tape that Conrad Murray taped of Michael Jackson, Michael talks about why he wants to go back out and perform, his motivation for doing it. To raise enough money to help children. Michael was his own 'Big Brother' Institution. It's why he always hung around kids. He enjoyed their innocence. Michael was not into chasing women. Michael doesn't even discuss this with Conrad Murray in the tape. I believe Michael was witnessing to Conrad Murray, unbeknownst to Conrad Murray. How do we know that Michael wasn't aware of Conrad's background, his lack of paying child support and being a womanizer. One gets the impression that Conrad Murray could give a rat's crap about what Michael is saying, by the responses that Conrad Murray makes, pretty much unresponsively!

This is what kept Michael grounded, helping children. God wants me to do it. God wants me to do it.

^ God it's so heartbreaking to hear that  I don't want to remember Michael that way. Poor soul probably didn't even realise he was being recorded.

I'm glad Judge Pastor singled out this piece of evidence and said none of us would want to be treated like that.
Being surreptitiously recorded by a DOCTOR of all people? Who then keeps the recording to blackmail you in case he doesn't get what he wants?
If it had been anyone else the outrage over Murray's conduct would have been off the charts.
But because it was Michael Jackson, hey anything can be done to him. He can be betrayed in every possible way. Who cares.

What an irony that this very recording alone makes it clear that MJ didn't have ulterior motives with regard to kids. His motives were pure, no way he could lie under such circumstances. Everything he says on that tape is the very core of who he was: he wanted to be the best entertainer ever, he missed his childhood, and he felt the pain of children who were suffering and wanted to help. If the bullshit from the Chandlers, Arvizos, Bob Jones, Dimond, Gutierrez, Robson, Stacy Brown, Safechuck, McManus and Murray himself had been true we wouldn't have heard THOSE words from him in an uninhibited state.

So true.

Absolutely. This tape is the real Michael in his most unguarded totally out of it state. Anybody with any doubts needs to listen to it.

I bawled like a baby when they played this at the trial.

Hearing that tape made me more angry then sad.

Even in that state he had one thing on his mind, and that was helping children.
He had nothing but the best intentions, he was truly pure of heart.

It disgust me how people were (and still are) hell-bent on bringing him down, and how to this day people continue to drag his name through the mud.

The media promotes every convicted felon who are trying to exploit their victim by telling one ridiculous lie after another?
Nope. It's only Murray who gets that treatment. Why? Because he killed Michael Jackson.

What did that piece of shit say and which country's morning show was it?
Did they ask hard ball questions? I'm sure they did.

Michael Jackson former doctor Conrad Murray bidding to get medical licence back

The controversial doctor was blamed for the superstar singer's death six years ago, but sees no reason he shouldn't be able to practise once again
Conrad Murray is looking to get his medical licence back

Superstar Michael Jackson ’s controversial doctor Conrad Murray wants his medical licence back so he can again practise in the United States, the Sunday Mirror can reveal.

Six years after being blamed for the singer’s death, heart specialist Murray says he sees no reason why he shouldn’t be allowed to return to making a living from his profession.

The heart specialist has applied to have his suspension lifted, claiming he is hard up and has to rely on handouts from friends.

Despite being jailed over *****’s shocking and premature death, Murray is to reapply for his suspended medical license to be reinstated in the two states in which he mainly worked.

Murray, whose controversial book on Jackson, This Is It, was serialised in the Daily and Sunday Mirror, insists: “I am an innocent man.”

He claims that although he was in Jackson’s house when he died, aged 50, from a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol, he played no part in his death.

“I was unjustly punished for a crime that never happened,” said Murray.

Murray said he would reapply for his medical license in California and Nevada, claiming they were suspended ‘voluntarily’ in those two states after his conviction.

“I see no reason why I shouldn’t be able to practise in the U.S,” he said. “I surrendered my licence voluntarily and am confident it will be re-instated in both states.”

Born in the Caribbean island of Grenada, before later moving to Trinidad and Tobago, Murray said he was still able to practise in the Caribbean if he so wished.

“I am a doctor by profession and no one can ever take that title away from me,” said Murray, who it’s claimed was earning $150,000 a month as Jackson’s personal physician at the time of his death.

Jailed for four years, in 2011, after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s death, Murray, 63, says he now has no income of his own and survives with handouts from friends and family.

But he claims he has continued to help many patients on a voluntary basis.

“Since being freed, I have continued to help my patients and many new patients who have come to me because of my reputation,” he said.

“They come from across the world; from Spain, Israel, America and the South Pacific. Do I charge them? No. I do not charge for my services. I volunteer to help them and see them through their problems.

“Most are major heart surgery patients. I help them and I help give them peace of mind. How do I benefit? The one thing that has always driven me is the fulfillment of making a difference.

“I am highly skilled and have an unblemished medical record. My career has been impeccable.”

Despite supposedly having no income, Murray splits his time between homes in Southern California and Florida, and lives with partner Nicole Alvarez, who he plans to marry, and their seven-year-old son Chee.

Murray is however being lined up for I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Talks are underway to get the man blamed for Jackson's death into the British version of the reality TV show.

Murray’s publicist Max Markson confirmed: “Yes, it’s true, we’re talking to the show’s producers about having Conrad in the jungle.

“I’m sure everyone will be fascinated to hear what he has to say about his time with Michael. He’d be a great draw.”

WTF?! Him on I'm A Celebrity? I hope to God ITV have some dignity and refuse. Then again there is a bushtucker trial (what events are called on the show) which is reminiscent of being buried alive. Get him to do that and leave the scumbag down there.

What are the chances of him getting his license reinstated?

I hope that never ever happens.

And you also humiliate your patients if the media is willing to pay for it.

The fact that he doesn't think that he's done anything wrong shows that his :censored: should still be in jail.

The heart specialist has applied to have his suspension lifted, claiming he is hard up and has to rely on handouts from friends.
I'm not sure where he's been getting his money but it's obvious that he's been living on more then handouts.
In fact, I'd say he's living high on the hog.

Unjustly punished?
Really?
He wasn't punished HALF as much as he deserves.

Ugh, if his dumb :censored: had killed anyone BUT MJ I bet no one would ever want to go to him again.
It may sound sick, but I bet you there are people that have sought him out just because he DID kill Michael.

Murray is however being lined up for I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

All they want is more :censored: to trash MJ with.
If he gets on the show I hope something "unfortunate" happens to him in the Jungle.

Oh, so Michael is still alive then is he Murray? Nope. You had nothing to do with his death... except for getting propofol, using it to anesthetize you patient with inadequate medical equipment and then leaving him unmonitored. Yep, you had absolutely nothing to do with any of that at all...

Yep you are right
They loveeeeee Conrad cuz he killed mj otherwise if he was some normal felon they wouldn't have gave him air time

You know with the way things are going it wouldn't effing surprise me if KJ is giving him money!

If they allow Murray to do this, I do not want to hear another thing about O J simpson.

If they allow Murray to do this, I do not want to hear another thing about O J simpson.
^^^^
This, and honestly we shouldn't hear a word about OJ now.
It seems like everyone's go to when they want to compare someone with MJ to argue/confirm MJ's guilt is OJ and/or Cosby when the only thing those men have in common is that they're all black celebrities, and they were all accused of crimes.
Other then that Michael has nothing in common with OJ or Cosby, which is why it's dumb as all get out when people compare them.
IMO it's also racially charged/racist when people compare MJ to OJ and/or Cosby because what it insinuates is that MJ is guilty by relation because he's a black celeb too.

Who do you think Mrs Jackson !

I mean no disrespect but with her not doing that restitution thing when Mr walgren asked her in 2011 ..can you blame me for thinking that !

When I saw KJ I did think Katherine Jackson, but I didn't think what you were saying could apply to her.
I'll have to do some more research on that situation.
