Dirty Diana appreciation

I just saw a documentary talking about Lady Diana asking Michael to perform Dirty Diana at wembley 88 concert, but Mike couldn't do it because he was embarrased and not enough time to rehearsal the song for the show...definately one of the best MJ songs
 
He took it out of the show previously out of respect for her, (you know, having the same name and all) and whe she asked him to do it because she liked it, it was too late to put it back in it, not because he hadn't rehearsed it but because the show was already planned and timed.

I love the pattern and phrasing in the voice..

TAKE THIS PART FOR EXAMPLE:

This is what I want you to pay attention to.. How every 10th & 11th silible goes into a gritty tone. It's phrasing and making the parts patternized..

She Said I Have To Go Home 'Cause I'm Real Tired You see
But I Hate Sleepin' AloneWhy Don't You Come With me
I Said My Baby's At Home She's Probably Worried tonight
I Didn't Call On The Phone To say That I'm Alright

Then after that verse, when he goes into the next verse starting with "Diana walked up to me" Michael takes the song into a more aggressive tone. At that same moment the strings become more prodominent to emphisize the emotion.

^^Ahh yes, his voice sounds AMAZING during those bits. I love the build up to the "Diana walked up to me.."

The way he sings it is just -- unbelivable.
It's gets more & more intense with every second.
Definetly one of the best songs ever written.

And don't even get me started on the video....

It's the best song in the world for me. I just listened to it for the first time several months ago and then I've been playing the Youtube clip over and over and over again every day LOL.
The first time I listened to it, I was blown away. I was like "Jesus, I never thought Michael Jackson could sing rock, and sing this insanely, unhumanly good" LOL.

That's my favorite part too, what a great song.
 
One of my fav parts is when he says unlock the door cuz I fuuggggot the key...its just the way he says things...that one of his beast and emotional song...I was watching the one dvd and its like Quincy said that song comes from a deep place you can tell.

Nothing to say about this song!!! It's one of the best songs of all time. The music, the lyric and the video....
 
I don't think she deserves appreciating. She sounds like a gold digging whore if you ask me.
