Look at all the game playing by Robson's new lawyers (they are referred to as "MSF"). IME = Independent Medical Examination.
All the discovery requests by Robson were fulfilled by the Estate without any need for a motion to compel.
Then Robson's new lawyers took over.
Funny how when these same lawyers requested Robson's IME be postponed from Aug 1. to 22. there were no worries by them of Robson being suicidal...

That new attorney is total prick. He tried to dictate the date of deposition by saying because Robson is already in Cali, but I liked how the estate attorney said they pay travels costs for another trip when they are ready to do their own depo with Wade.
This new attorney mentions many times that case has been going on over 3 years, so they had plenty of time to take Wade's depo. How much of the time was used to to argue as whether Wade can sue dead person? It was only May 2015 when judge dismissed Wade's claim against MJ, and MJ was removed from the case.
Secondly, many times he mentions that this case has been going on so long - over 3 years, all of sudden Wade is suicidal, particularly in this August:scratch:

They keep going on about ridiculing the Defense for not being prepared to depose Robson after 3 years of proceeding. Which is of course a fallacy in itself, because it is totally understandable if they want to depose him in the possession of even more information that may come out of the IME.
They also keep misrepresenting the Defense's position and act like the Defense wants to forbid them to depose their own client. Which is not their position. The Defense said that Robson's lawyers can go ahead and depose him on August 24 and for one hour if they want to, but they themselves intend to depose him at a later date and for at least 7 hours when in possession of of his IME results. So I had the feeling that for most of their Opposition they kept attacking a strawman.

So Wade's team seems to think that his case cannot stand on its own merits, and needs 'legal tricks' to help carry it forward. It doesn't seem that his new legal team has much faith in his case!
I'd love to be a fly on the wall when his family is deposed.....

I wonder what is the real reason for Wade changing his legal team?
Maybe Gradstein knew that case is doomed and referred Wade to another law firm, or Wade felt Gradstein haven't managed to produce desired settlement offer from the estate and changed attorney?
Me too, especially when mother is being deposited. I can imagine the squirming going on.

Came across this filing from May 5th involving John Manly, from the same firm as Vince Finaldi, who is representing clients accusing a teacher from Gilroy Unified School District of sexual assault and harassment. Note the lawyer from another firm who is also representing someone in the claim. None other than Gloria Alred. While there is no connection to W.R. I just found it interesting that familiar faces keep popping up.

Court sanctioned blackmail IMO. Very glad that Beckloff has been the judge from the beginning and can see through this. Although I get frustrated that he moves slowly, his decisions have been the right ones.

I'm not that impressed with his settlements. As far as I can see most of those are against the church or the schools. In those cases there is a very obvious liability - as the priests/teachers are employed by the church/school and the kids are exposed to them through church/school. I believe most of those would also be instances where church/school knew but did nothing. I don't know if anyone watched "Spotlight" movie that came out last year. It was about how the church covered the molestation of the kids. So those cases are almost slam dunk IMO. Furthermore I think those cases also have defendants who are more than happy to settle. I imagine church/schools prefer to quietly settle than to go through a public trial. So those big settlements aren't that impressive IMO.

his injuries before 2010 May?

no not really. in order to sue companies he needs to show a relationship between MJ and the companies in which companies have power/control over MJ. That's why they are calling MJ and employee etc. To make it sound like companies could control MJ. Reality is however Mj owned the companies, he had control over the companies.
