hey guys, i just thought why don't we start a thread about our memories. when you remember, you live in this moment. and sometimes it can make you smile.

i was really sad on Michael's birthday and bought a bunch of flowers, went to the wharf at the sea. and i would pick up a flower, think of a happy memory about Michael and would throw it to the water. and i dont know why but it made me feel a little better. it made me smile.

we might just start each post from a "do you remember this time when..." and then you just add your memory. may be he said something inspirational, you something funny happened to you and was related to him.

i'll just try first...

DO YOU REMEMBER THE TIME WHEN WE GAVE HIM THESE ROSES?

Do you remember the time...

...when we stood behind him and one girl we've met there said - loudly, as the fan noise was deafening - "He's got such a nice bum!"
And my friend replied: "Nice what????"
And I shouted to her: "BUM, NICE BUMMMM!!!"
And Michael turned around and said: "Who? Me?" and we cowered...

Do you remember the time he looked at us then...?

Do you remember the time we were all united during the trial and wore our Truth Justice Michael bracelets proudly?

Do you remember the time when...one of his songs touched you so much you cried? I have a special memory when I was pregnant with my daughter in 1985. "We Are the World" came out that year, and I just love the song. It was was the first song to ever make me cry. I was so moved by the song, and by the fact that all the proceeds from it were going toward famine relief in Ethiopa, not only did I buy the record for that reason, but I also made a donation. I was sooo broke at the time, but I donated anyway. I was pregnant, and knew how blessed I was to know she would be healthy and well fed. I felt like I just had to do something to help those children who were not so fortunate.

hey guys i've just found it, it's so beautiful what he wrote straight after the trial

"Without God, my children, my family and you, my fans, I could not have made it through. Your love, support and loyalty made it possible.

You were there when i really needed you. I will never foget you. You ever-present love held me, dried my tears, and carried me through.

I will treasure you devotion and support forever. You are my inspiration.

Love,
Michael Jackson"

this made me cry
he is so amazing

That also made me cry. I love him so much.

do you remember the time when Michael gave this interview and how happy he was when he talked about his children?

OMG Catherine I so totally remember that interview. I still have the whole thing on tape from when I had tape it back then. I would never forget it too. I was 17 at the time and I remember having to stay home from school. Because I had really bad streph throat. So all day long I had spent my time listening to Michael and watching him. While I look so forward to that interview that night. Well I remember Michael practically had cleared up my streph throat the minute I saw him. And that outfit he had on at the time. I still like to think that Michael knew one of his female fans was sick. And he thought he'll wear an outfit that might make his fan feel better. And did it ever. It was like I was never even sick to begin with.

Another memory I have was when I saw the Oprah Interview when I was 13. It was that interview right there that really made me love Michael more than I already did then. Especially my absolute favorite scene when he beat box and sang Who Is It. I had totally loved that song ever since then. I even have several different versions of that song. Who Is It will forever remain one of my absolute favorite MJ songs. I can never get tired of hearing it. And I so love the music for that song.

I have other MJ memories of course. But this is all I am going to post for now.

Do you remember the time when.......I was coming out of work after 6.30pm, December 2006.
Crossing over Tottenham Court Road, I saw a commotion in the street - a blacked out merc surrounded by people running after it and screaming, with flags and banners.

I thought, only Michael could generate that kind of hysteria, asked one of the guys who confirmed it was indeed the KOP's car, so i ran into the road in my pencil skirt and 5 inch stilletoes and chased after it with everyone else - in Central London rush hour traffic.

Nearly crippled myself.......but so worth it when he wound the window down so we could see him. He smelled gorgeous...........

I made a similar thread ages ago, these are fun :)

Do you remember the time,

...when me and my friends were in a taxi last March desperately trying to follow Michael to the airport. We thought we had lost him until one of us shouted "OMG!!! LOOOKK!" turns out Michael's huge white car was right beside our taxi! We stayed behind him and through the back window we could see his silhouette and his hair  and he was holding up and reading our notes we gave to him a few minutes before!!!!

Also, when we were outside Michael's hotel in 2007 waiting for him to return from wherever he had gone to. We were sitting opposite to where the car would end up and we were jamming to "Bootylicious" by Destiny's child....when all of a sudden we saw flashing lights and realized it was Michael's car and he'd told the driver to flash the lights to get our attention!!! We jumped up and bolted towards the car....and by that time Michael had gotten out of the car and was walking inside with fans all around him! LOL I did get to hold his arm and walk towards the elevator with him

do you remember the time when...

I was at the front of the history concert in wembley 15th july 1997 and I looked behind me to see thousands of happy people and I couldn't believe I was right there waiting for Michael to come on stage...and when he came on there, I was the happiest person alive...floating on air. My dream came true

do you remember how you felt the first time you saw Michael live on stage?
