Michael Jackson is one of the few left with us to whom God has given
the power to touch and Heal Souls.
Do you think he knows this?

I think he knows his fans love him and need him.
Up to what degree? Only Michael could say.
 
I think Michael knows how talented he is, and how much people love him. A gift sent from God? Maybe, but he's only a human being.

I believe Michael is very alerted of how much the people wants him back, he's given us nothing but "Thrills and Chills" for over the past 30 or 40yrs. But at the same time we have to realize that Michael is not 25yrs old anymore, he's getting older that's for sure, but don't get me wrong I'm not stating that he is talentless because he is still one of the best entertainers that we have till this day, what I'm saying is that things start to slow down within your body therefore your energy level wouldn't be able to obtain all the excitement as it did years ago. :) Yet it doesn't seem to slow him down as much because he's always giving us surprises.^_^

Does MJ know how much he is needed?

I think he realized it right after he was shown the Soulja Boy dance by Big Boi.

From that point on I feel he's thinking "OH CRAP! I gotta DO something!" lol

Considering the way people have treated him, probably not.

I think Michael knows he has a special purpose in this world, but as far as him knowing how much people want him to serve out that purpose, I don't think they've shown him they need him, even though they do.

I think I see what you mean, that's more regarding the general public; however I think he knows his FANS like us love him.
 
on a serious note... i think he felt a sense of need after James Brown's funeral at the very least...

I wonder why people have such a problem with saying that someone is "sent from God".

When the whole "God" thing comes in people are like oooooooooooooh.

But let's be real here. Michael has LITERALLY saved lives. He has with his own hands saved the lives of sick and starving children. And before anyone gets all crazy I'm not trying to say that he is perfect or that he is God. He's just a blessing and it's OK to say that.

He has made music that has healed people's souls (like the original poster stated) and makes people dance and come together.

There's nothing wrong with calling Michael a gift from God--if you believe in God that's simply what he is.

Many different people are a gift from god in SOMEONE's life--I'm sure you are yourself.

Michael just happens to be a gift in MANY MANY people's lives (because of his popularity).

And though there are so many haters (and even THEY are closet fans)--Michael KNOWS that his true fans LOVE him! And clearly the popular artists in the music industry right now are missing him (tribute after tribute after interview lol).

You're right LovelyOne. I don't know why people have an issue with saying Michael is a gift from God. If he's not, then no one is, I say.
