Dr Tohme Tohme, AEG and Colony Captial(who co-own Neverland)

Ah, well. Agree to disagree on that one, and that's ok. It was just so different from other rehearsal footage I've seen in the past.

The issue I have with Ortega is that he was among those who were in a position to see Michael's readiness, or unreadiness, for the concerts. I find it troubling that he was cutting up his food for him and was concerned about his eating enough, but then there were his statements that "Michael was fine." I don't see Michael as having been fine. . . . Ortega's, or anyone's, FIRST concern should have been Michael's health and well-being.

Vic,Kenny was going along the AEG line-"Michael is healthy".
Knowing him just the little bit I think I do,I believe he is now overwhelmed with guilt.

Yes, I'm aware that he was going along with the AEG line "Michael is healthy." A lot of people have been doing that, and I'm sure there is a lot of pressure to do so. But someone, somewhere, needs to step up. If he knows that Michael was NOT healthy, then that provides at least a motive for murder -- and is at the very least something that should be looked into. If he KNOWS Michael was not ok, then he needs to go to the authorities. Guilt doesn't do much good unless it changes behavior? That would be a heroic action on Kenny's part, and I hope he steps up -- before it's too late.

I don't know, sometimes I think maybe we should write some kind of an open letter to these people around TII to arouse their conscience begging them to start speaking

Very good thinking Daisy, I am all for it.I don't believe our world is so corrupt that there is not one single pure soul that worked closely with Michael and won't step out for the truth.
Those that were on the AEG payroll are afraid.Who knows if they have been threatened?

And who knows if it takes only a letter to wake up these people's conscience and realize that they can not live the rest of their lives covering a murder?

Yes, a letter is a nice idea.

Also, to the LAPD. What do you all think? Is that too much? They NEED to know people are watching THIS investigation, and that they can't leave it alone like they do others.

The case is off LAPD hands I guess, once it went to the DA?
So the DA has to be reached by influential voices with their concerns about the case,ASAP.

I'm sure they know we are watching because they are watching us!!
Surely they have their people checking on every MJ board.

I didn't know the investigation was complete...

But it could be. From the information we are getting we can't really say for sure.

According to what the site called a "very informed source," the police investigation was "exhaustive" and "extremely thorough,"

If it was exhaustive and extremely throrough, they better have many more arrests.....

It's obvious this was a murder....and now we are watching the DA.

I'm waiting for that FIRST DEGREE MURDER, someway or somehow.

I agree with you.....and one name I want to see at the top of that list is Thome Thome....and if others associated with AEG know something...NOW is the time to step up....how can they sleep at night knowing that they know that Michael was sick and they didnt do anything to help him.....IMHO...I dont think they can I think that the guilt is eating away at their insides like a plague....So hopefully they will do the right thing and come forward NOW.

Yea, I agree. They should at least have more people to arrest than just Murray (if they are even going to arrest him?). Since this investigation was so "exhaustive" for them.

Yes, "why they sleep?, they should be threatened..half of him they'll never be, so they should feel threatened.."

And I'm also hoping for second degree murder charge of Murray the least. And if he's charged with that, and let's say, if he knows he didn't murder Michael, HOPEFULLY that charge will force him to speak up??? Or at least "Accidently" give some clues to other players....

And is anyone familiar with how long it takes for a case to be sent to the D.A.'s office and for them to do anything?

Don't know which media they own, but they've got a hand in almost everything. Was Michael's memorial a "reality show?" They sure put that together fast, didn't they? The article is from April 2008. The really serious talks with Michael began in July, 2008. Guess that was the "new programming?" I see they also do "theme parks?"

Mark Burnett Productions and AEG Align to Create, Broadcast and Tour Live Productions and Other Programming

Mark Burnett Productions (MBP) and AEG have strategically partnered to develop and produce live entertainment, events, tours and other related programming for venues such as arenas, amphitheatres, theatres, casinos and theme parks, based on Burnett owned reality television and game show properties and to produce reality and other non-scripted television shows based on AEG owned properties.

The deal was announced today by Timothy J. Leiweke, President and CEO, AEG, and Mark Burnett, President, Mark Burnett Productions. Additionally, the two organizations will collaborate on developing new original content that can be leveraged across all media, including television.
The multi-year agreement provides both MPB and AEG with the first opportunity to produce television content or live events respectively. Specifically, MBP will have a first opportunity to produce in any form of non-scripted, reality, and game show television programming based on selected AEG tours and Properties. In turn, AEG will have a first look at selected MBP Properties that MBP designates for live-event production.
"We have always believed that the next logical stage of development for many of our most popular television reality programs would be to live-action events," said Burnett. "AEG is the perfect choice for us to work with to develop live shows and tours for some of our popular shows that the public is looking forward to interacting with in person. We firmly believe in live entertainment and that it will greatly enhance the value of our popular brands."

Mark Burnett is known for producing groundbreaking and popular television programs such as Survivor, The Apprentice, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Rock Star, the boxing reality show, The Contender, and has promoted two successful boxing events at the AEG owned Staples Center. Mark Burnett Productions handles production, post-production, distribution and merchandising world-wide for its own productions and acts as the world-wide distributor for other content producers as well. Additionally, Mark Burnett has active production companies in Europe and Asia producing programs for both the U.S. and foreign markets and an active scripted television and motion picture division in the U.S.

"The unprecedented popularity and exceptional creativity behind the catalog of shows produced by Mark Burnett Productions clearly indicates that Mark and his staff have tremendous insight, not to mention an incredible track record of being able to develop programs that resonate with television audiences all over the globe," said Leiweke. "Add to this mix an exciting slate of programs now in development and we believe that together we can capitalize on the shows Mark desires to take on tour that will allow the millions of fans to experience them live and in a totally new way."

"Likewise, we believe Mark and his colleagues are uniquely qualified to adapt AEG's most popular national tours and 'brands' and to re-create them in an innovative and exciting TV-friendly manner never before considered," said Eric Stevens, President, AEG Live Events and Media. "We are excited and energized about this new relationship with Mark. We believe that the synergy that can grow out of adapting our properties for television and Mark's properties for live events is tremendously powerful."

AEG Live, one of the world's leading concert promotion and touring companies, is comprised of stand-alone affiliate divisions devoted to all aspects of live entertainment including, national and international special events and tours such as Prince, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, the Eagles, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, Dixie Chicks, Hannah Montana and American Idol. AEG Live is currently overseeing the international museum tour of the artifacts of King Tut "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" and produced Celine Dion A New Day.Presented By Chrysler, a spectacular theatrical production starring Dion and directed by Franco Dragone which just concluded an unprecedented five year "residency" at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. AEG Live co-produces the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Goldenvoice, the company's southern California-based regional promotion division created and operates the award winning annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

"AEG's experience on both the creative and development side when it comes to tours and live productions as well as their tremendous experience in promotion of their tours truly makes them the leaders in the industry," Burnett added. "We also look forward to working with them and their colleagues throughout the music/live event industry to create more entertainment for our great and loyal fans both at home and in venues not only in America, but throughout the world."

It is anticipated that the partnership will be announcing new programming in the coming weeks.

Yes,the investigation is completed and will be presented to the DA (Patrick Dixon) any time now.
I hope the DA will carry on taking into consideration every possible motive and will not want to wrap things up ASAP.

I dont think the investigation is over. The DA has denied the TMZ report who first stated that the investigation is over. Since then TMZ have remained mum on the investigation and we still havent heard a word about this going to the DA yet and still NO ARRESTS! In fact Murray is allowed to practice medicine again despite being linked to killing Michael Jackson?!?

I agree. Firpo Carr said "rumors are STILL swirling". So that may have been a rumor.

But gosh, such a long time investigating....they better BE investigating.

Thanks Victoria!
I was wondering about media ownership in particular-we do want to know who has AEG behind their backs signing their paychecks!

I can't believe it's been seven months already. And nothing has happened. I hope the LAPD know people are watching.

Does anyone know which newspapers are owned by AEG?

examiners are owned by AEG... from the AEG website:

Clarity Media Group is a newspaper publishing company, and the parent company to the Washington D.C. Examiner, The San Francisco Examiner and the Independent newspapers. Serving the district and surrounding suburban areas of Washington D.C. and San Francisco, the papers provide an additional print and online platform in two of the top ten media markets in the United States to general advertisers, sponsors, and partners of AEG.

The Examiners offer a critical mass of distribution including 260,188 in the Washington Examiner, 163,000 in the San Francisco Examiner and 285,000 in the Independent making us the second largest paper in each market.

Beginning with the San Francisco Examiner established in 1865 and made famous by William Randolph Hearst who took control in 1887, the Examiner name and brand will serve as the basis for the further expansion of a news, features and advertising alternative in other key markets.

7 Months to the day and no arrests?!?

This was from an article last month.
It's been nearly six months since Michael Jackson's death, and police investigating the case say it could be several more months before any charges in the homicide are filed.

The Times reported that with no suspects in custody, sources familiar with the Jackson investigation have compared it to the probe involving the death of actress Lana Clarkson, in which prosecutors took more than a year before filing murder charges against Phil Spector. Given the high-profile nature of the Jackson probe, prosecutors are also reportedly under pressure to compile the strongest possible case before announcing any charges.

So they are comparing it to the death of Lana Clarkson, which involved murder charges.....so I wonder if their will really be murder charges in Michael's....the TRUTH may very well come to light.

Hope that's what their doing, compiling the strongest possible case.....instead of slacking off....doing nothing....

So we if don't have the "strongest possible case" compiled, then we know what the LAPD have been doing these several months........

Well...are we satisfied if they bring murder charges to Murray?
Just Murray? End of story?
I know I'm not, and I don't even want to think unvoluntary manslaughter,it's exactly like pressing no charges at all.

So it seems that TMZ were full of BS and that the investigation ISNT over. And the reason it probably isnt over is due to the fact that it wasnt just Murray involved here. There is a much bigger picture. I dont care that nothing has happened yet, its when certain media claim that Murray's arrest is imminent, it makes me wonder.

That's right. And in one of Firpo's latest articles, he mentions the story of Murray about to be charged with manslaughter..and right after that he states, "rumors are still swirling"

I'm hearing that the investigation is complete and sent to the D.A. But I totally forgot about that article in December, stating the completed investigation is weeks rather than months away. Yeah, rumors are still swirling.

Well...are we satisfied if they bring murder charges to Murray?

I agree with you. And yes, just Murray would not be good. And I think other arrests will be coming. Firpo Carr kind of hinted that other arrests may be present. Well, actually, he asked. "Is an arrest imminent for Dr. Murray? Are other arrests in the offing?"

Why even bring that question up if it's not possible. We obviously know the answer to the first question. And the way he asked 'are other arrests in the offing' right after that one kind of tells us the answer. And it's also like a hint.

I find it interesting that they would compare it to the Lana Clarkson investigation and not the Anna Nicole death investigation?

Lana Clarkson was shot! Most definitely murder!
Is that a good sign?

Honestly?

In my opinion that's most likely eye washing... trying to keep ppl patient till the time is good to present a 'non-case' and shut it.

But well... let's wait and see what they'll really bring on the table.
If they will ever present anything.

DI,Kasume, earth child, your posts give me courage!!
Are we sure that the "Investigation is complete" is just TMZ trash? Was it confirmed by a mainstream source?
If not, you are probably right, the investigation is ongoing!!OMG

The Lana Clarkson case...do you realize it's the SECOND time we have the word "murder" coming up?
Just for reminder the first time we encounter the word is here:

Well first of all the DA denied this story. That says it all right there. All other media like usual were quoting TMZ. TMZ have since not said a word regarding the investigation. No arrests have been made. And who announces publicly anyway who the suspect is to be arrested? That's like me telling you Im going to rob your house before I do it.

THE INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING.

That is not just the second time. Firpo Carr compared Michael's death to the murder of JFK, saying how JFK was murdered in front of the entire world, while Michael died in a room, away from the eyes of millions.
