Michael Jackson's former friend and supposed financial advisor Leonard Rowe is planning a tell-all book about the King of Pop.
But even before the book is released, Rowe's former publicist has poured scorn on the exposé, accusing the music manager of being less than loyal to Jackson and his family.

"Rowe had been working on this book before Michael passed away and it was not going to be favorable," Cataunya Ransom told RadarOnline.com, in an exclusive interview.
"Rowe wanted to expose Michael... he had no good intentions and just wanted to ride off Michael's name."

Rowe's one-time advisor added: "The original plan Rowe had was to use Michael's name and have a bombshell book to gain for himself. Now his book can't be all bad stuff about Michael because if it's bad he'll burn his relationship with the Jackson's and he can't afford to do that."

Rowe, who is no relation to Michael's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, remains a close confidant with family patriarch Joe Jackson.
Ransom said it was Joe who hatched the plan for Rowe to represent Michael.
"I don't believe that Rowe was ever Michael's financial advisor like he says he was," Ransom said.
"Joe Jackson and Rowe faxed out a release saying that Rowe would be representing Michael."

But as RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Michael fired Rowe via a written letter, stating: "This is to inform you that you do not represent me and I do not wish to have any oral or written communications with you regarding the handling of my business and/or personal matters."

Rowe spent time in federal prison in the early 90's after being convicted of wire fraud for his role in the cashing of a fraudulent insurance check and also has multiple arrests for writing bad checks.

Rowe has also been successfully sued by artists R. Kelly and Ne-Yo.
Kelly was awarded over three million dollars that was formally settled on April 9, 2009. Ne-Yo sued him for over $700K and the case was settled in September 2008.
"He has a very unfavorable past," Ransom said of Rowe. "Was Rowe a loyal friend to Michael? No, he wasn't. He's driven by greed."

"I don't know why the Jackson's trust him [Rowe] so much. He used to tell me all the time how weird he thought Michael was.
"Before he died, Michael wasn't even talking to his family. When they went to trial Michael would just go in his room afterwards and not talk to any of them. It's unfortunate.

"Michael was good to his family though. When he'd perform with his brothers he always took the same salary as they did even though he was the headliner. He wanted everything split among him and his brothers equally.
"After Michael would perform he was always, always reading the Bible. He was extremely religious."
Ransom told RadarOnline.com that Rowe wished to remain in good graces with the Jackson family so he can profit off of them.
"The Jackson's have big plans. They want to do concerts in Las Vegas and re-create Michael through holograms to be on stage with them," Ransom said.
"Rowe wants in on the opportunity to brand Michael."

ok i am still out there i am a former friend of a friend of a friend that used to date Michael. But i wont say anything because i wont get the money i deserve.... if you believe any of that or what this guy is trying to sell then have i gotta deal for you.
 
whether this is true or not but Joe sure is surrounded by all shady characters. every one just want to milk cash cow :puke:.poor mike ,rest in peace angel.
 
First of all, I'm loving that pic!

Second of all, that money grubbing excuse of a human being needs to go to the pits of hell where he belongs! I am so tired of these blood sucking leeches who to this day are still trying to wring every cent they can from the name Michael Jackson. See why I don't understand why he and Joe are so tight at the hips? how can you be chummy with someone like this? That's why no one can take certain members of the Jackson family serious when they have people like this around them.
 
People here had been defending Rowe ....because he went on Larry King with Joe accusing everyone & no one in particular of controlling MJ.

Now his own advisor said he did not care for MJ...

Again...no surprise, knowing Joe's & Rowe's shady history. I don't know what Rowe will write about MJ since he hasn't officially work with him since the Triumph or Victory tour. And no, I am not buying his lie that MJ hired that guy last spring...and he never received the letter firing him

Sorry to say this but the Jacksons are damaged goods in the music industry. Many people will not do business with Joe Jackson...They have burned a lot of bridges.

MJ was the reason why most promoters were even interested in dealing with them ...I am not referring to low lives like All Good Entertainment

But Cataunya Ransom is talking the Jacksons have "big plans", I think do with those shows "Jacskon 5 return", I remember seeing something - perhaps Jermaine said - that Janet would be in place of Michael in concerts.

You want to bet that the stuff in book is the LEAST that Michael was the BIGGEST drug addict of all time and that since Michael fired Joe, Michael is completely controlled by anyone.

Don't be. He can't write anything worse than what Bob Jones did back in '04 and he was MJ's actual publicist for over 15 years. That book (Behind the Mask) was so reprehensible and crazy that the parts I could get through revealed far more about Jones' complexes and his nutty collaborator Stacy Brown than about MJ. For example, Jones wrote he and Michael supposedly had lunch at Lisa's home, and when Michael declined macaroni and cheese, Jones attributed it to being another sign of MJ rejecting his black heritage!!!!!! Yep, nonsensical junk like that. The good thing is it was so hateful that you could not take it seriously.

Rowe is a lightweight in the smear department of Mj, he didn't have that much access to him, and he's a criminal himself. Regardless of whatever he tries to spew, MJ will still come out smelling like sunflowers.

yes. they control Michael's name and image. They cannot use it without estate's approval. and that's one of the reasons some people are against the estate and the executors (as they would like to be free and do whatever they want with Michael's name, image, brand etc).

since Michael's death.. Joe showed hist true close, Janet showed her true color and Randy showed his true color...

He once was an assistant at Joe Jackson label called Takeyamoney records know as the biggest label of all time. Rowe who now feels some kind of way because TKOP fired him many claim because he didn’t make sure MJ had the right pair of shoes and MJ was missing chocolate cookies from his cookie jar. Rowe feels left out many of MJ fans feels he needs to learn how to shut up and keep quiet stop doing interview and relax and home eating chicken feet and lobster. Rowe was sued by artist, movie stars, cartoon stars etc. which in clues R. Kelly, Neyo, Fred Flintstone, Donald duck, Betty Boo, power puffs girls over there theme song, little Bill cast members, Nick JR, The boondocks and the list goes on.

Wow, I really did not read the book from Bob Jones :puke:, I know some things that other fans who read told me. I really do not like that the avalanche of books/movies about Michael that are emerging from these obscure people. I'd love to see the family worried and do something to stop it.
