I know for many that may not necessarily be true; my heart goes out to all whose circumstances prevent them from enjoying the season. And if, for most human and quite legitimate reasons, contentment is out of the question, I hope they do find a bit of comfort and a sense of peace.
:snowing: Here, around the corner and thinking of you too Girl I hope you are having wondelful Holidays. It's that wonderful time of the year....again which means, it is time to :smilie_bump: this thread.
The great thing about Christmas music is that one never truly runs out of treasures to discover. Case in point - this magical number from Mr. Nat King Cole, Take me back to toyland, which, believe it or not, I've 1st heard earlier today
Little Saint Nick by The Beach Boys. I have to listen to this song every year.

'Nother recent discovery. I can't believe I haven't found this treasure earlier - Let it be Christmas, by the incredible Mr. Alan Jackson.
As a matter of fact, the entire album is marvellous. But still, that opening number truly is amazing. Most definitely, my favorite tune this season. Matter o' fact, I love it so much, I think imma go ahead and borrow it for my siggy now. I'm sure Michael wo(uld)n't mind. It's still a Jackson number, after all
It truly is a musical postcard showcasing everything that is so right, so bright and so amazing about the Christmas spirit, especially in the good ole' US of A.
Christmas everywhere In what this day means and what we believe
From the sandy white beaches where blue water rolls
Snow covered mountains and valleys below
And even when ignorant, heathen scrooges don't allow thousands of lights to brighten up cities, He who is the Light of the World shines ever so brightly inside of people's hearts and His light can never be extinguished.
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing let every bell ring The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas
Christmas everywhere
