I'm also looking for an invite. You can ask an invite from the spotify people at http://www.spotify.com/en/ but it'll take a long time until they give you one. I've been waiting for a few weeks now.

Yeah I registered on there but it says you just get put on a waiting list so will probs take ages.

I have spotify too. I can listen to it with some commercial messages in between. What's this about inviting friends? Never heard of it. lol But I could invite you if I can...
I also have Spotify after my sister sent me an invitation, but I haven't been able to figure out am I able to send any out myself :scratch:
