I feel I am now over MJ, although I have thoughts about him now and again which can be painful, but overall im enjoying his music and getting on with things, and my life is moving forward.

After getting over it all, I realised and it may not go down well with some people here, but again this how I feel and do not expect others to feel the same. Although MJ without a shadow of a doubt was the greatest entertainer of all time, thats all he was and how he is dead, I shall find someone else to entertain me. He used to entertain me and make me feel good, but I can still feel that way by listening to his music, MJ should not impact lives in a direct way, but but be a source of happiness, and when that source no longer exists, than move on or listen to the stuff he has released. In all honesty now thinking about it, he was not all that very important to me, he just entertained me, and as cold as it may sound I dont really care anymore, many people die of pverty, hunger and war on a daily basis I think ill save my tears for them.
 
Well um good for you I guess. This didn't help me at all. I feel bad for those who are poverty striken as well, I absolutely do and it hurts me to see others in pain, but I didn't grow up with any of these people. I don't know anything about them. Sorry to say but most of them are just names and faces, but I don't know the stories behind them. It's totally different than Michael who was a big part of my life and who I grew up with, so no this didn't comfort me at all. The only thing I feel to do now since Michael died is that i've been inspired by his humanitarian efforts and although i've always liked to help out, I'm now looking more to do things to help the less fortunate. He's inspired me in that way which does make me feel better. I will never forget about him for his humanitarian efforts and music as well. No way, he was too big apart of my life. No entertainer will be as good to me either, so I don't know what you're saying there. Michael is irreplaceable for me. I'll never love another entertainer as much as I loved MJ.

What you wrote was a bit cold though I have to agree, but glad that you're doing fine I guess.

Your words certainly doesn't sound like those of a true fan. You think it's easy to take someone for granted while they're alive, and move on to someone else once they're dead? I certainly wouldn't like to be married to you. Because once I'm dead you'd probably have moved on to the next person within a matter of weeks.

This was such a horrible thing to say, especially to fans as big as the ones here. Michael was not just an entertainer to most of us. He was like a family member. Somebody who gave us hope every day, a reason to live. To us he is not just some entertainment. He is a part of our lives and has a very big impact on most of us.

If you could get over something like this so fast and easy, then good for you. But us true fans will cherish Michael's memory in our hearts forever. And I can guarantee you now, there will never be another entertainer or kind hearted person as much as Michael in our world again. We have lost a true hero. And they don't come around often.

I know his/her thoughts and feelings may conflict with ours but everyones reacting to this differently.
 
Umm, ok? All I can think is maybe he didn't impact your daily life as he did mine for instance. He wasn't just an entertainer to me...man that was the smallest part of him to me. But, I'm glad you're doing good.

Didn't really help as he was a great person who cared and brought hope to the poor even saved lives (by helping some sick children to the organs or whatever they needed) and so on.

This man is one one of the things that brought these people hope in thier dispair. We lost someone who truely cared for them and had the money to help them. Not someone who did it to say look at me.

I'm not saying I don't feel for the poor because I do. I see homeless people at the park acorss from my house pretty much everyday. All I have to do is look out the window.

If you only see this man as an entertainer good for you I guess.

But the title is misleading. This was not a comforting post, but quite cold. This does nothing to help people whose lives were actually really touched by Michael and this is who his death is affecting most (besides his family and friends of course). This post would be good for a casual or non-fan, not hardcore fans like myself and many others here. I'm sorry I just didn't get anything out of the OP's post and i'm wondering why he/she posted this at all. Nothing was comforting about it. It was quite insensitive actually.
 
I respect your difference of opinion but its quite shocking to hear this right now to be honest but then everyone thinks/feels differently.

i read it yesterday and i was mislead by the titile too. then i decided to shut up and be glad for this person that they feel fine. i didnt like "entertain me" thing but well... decided to be tolerant.

but thank you for getting the right word for it - COLD.
the post is completely cold. Michael never entertained me. He was like my brother, i was amazed by his talent and was happy for his victories. I wish he would have decided not to do any concerts at all and stay away from showbiz till the end of his life. then he would be alive living somewhere and it would have made me happy.

sorry but you never seen a real Michael Jackson if he only entertained you
