Just listening to his music for the first time now. What a damn good artist. I hope many other people will follow........ I knew the songs Bad, Billy Jean and some other songs but never took the time to really listen to his music. I think he is great.

^ Exactly, those who wasn't a fan of MJ before have years in front of them to discover about MJ.

I would be quite interesting to get in the mind of a new fan right now, to feel what you feel and believe what you believe as you just march through countless amounts of video, music and information about Michael.
 
Welcome! I was in your position 2 years ago, your in for a whirlwind extravaganza of discovering the music, dance and love of one incredible human being. Brings back all my memories of 6 hour youtube sessions and getting my way through court transcripts, speeches and the music. Get a massive mug of coffee cos u'll not be able to drag yourself away.:yes:
 
A big HELLO. I've been a Michael Jackson fan for all my life and for all his life. Yes...I was around when he started out with the Jackson 5 all those years ago and I have followed him through all his incredible career........sweet memories....

There are lots of interviews and other footage you can find on the net. The Michael jackson video from I think 1987 or 1988 is good, its from the BAD tour. There is a section on this forum which has lots of media links.

i only really got into him the month before he passed...but i'm glad i did
 
There will be alot of new MJ fans. My brother is not a fan and he has downloaded all his songs this week. He was shocked about the death as much as I was.
