I am getting through because...

... I know that Michael is still with us all in so many ways. Even if you don't believe the spirit(ual) part - look at the wave of both sadness and love he is sending all across the globe. That is Michael's spirit, if nothing else. He is still here because people are still filled with emotion by him. We need to keep that alive.

... because I know that his children need a future where Michael has inspired life and love. Because we need to help make this world beautiful for all our children, but especially now for his. Because they are in pain now, and we can keep his spirit alive and make the love he inspired eternal.

... because he wanted to make the world a better place, and now that he can't do that anymore, I want to do it for him. I am going to save up to go to Africa and do volunteer work there, no matter how long I have to save up. Because only his body is gone - so I will be his hands, we can all be his hands, we can all make the world a better place and thereby his spirit will never be gone.

... I need to. As much as I want Michael here with us, maybe God needed him more than we do now. It's painful, and that's normal, it's part of the grief. I wanted more from him and I felt like he had much more TO give, but maybe he did all that he could. I can try to rationlize his death and figure out why what happened had to happen so soon, but it's just gonna make me even more depressed and in the deep road. It is my duty to live for Michael, and if I can, keep his spirit alive.

I completely agree. As long as he inspires love in the living, his legacy and his spirit are alive. I do feel it's our duty to keep him here in that way. I really do.
 
I am getting through becasue Michael would want us to pull through this time stronger than ever as a community of fans. Also we need to be here to watch over his children for him and make sure they are not ridiculed the way Michael was.

I am getting through because...

...If he could go through all the hell he went through in his life and still laugh, love and smile...then I can get through what stupid people are saying about him.

...Michael taught his fans to heal the world and that is exactly what I am going to do when I go to school to be a paramedic....heal the world, even if it's one patient at a time.

... I have the fullest faith that we can keep Michael's legacy alive forever if we stay alive. We can not only keep it alive within ourselves, but also pass it on in so many ways.

...because I have faith in my friends. I'm thankfull for all those ppl loving me around me who are constantly telling me it will take time but it will get better. I do believe them.

I feel it's my duty as a fan to continue listening to his music and defending his name against those who speak out in ignorance now Michael is no longer here to defend himself.

It's also great to know there's communities such as this online where fans can come together and share their feelings and experiences. Being able to speak with other fans and not have to defend yourself or your allegiance to Michael is so refreshing.

I am getting through....

Because I have children that make me smile.

Because I have the most wonderful friends that understand the pain I am going through as they are going through the same and give me comfort as I do them.

Because I have had wonderful support from family.
Because I feel Michael around everywhere. :wub:
Because I now feel Michael is at peace and know that no one can ever harm him again.

Because coming here and sharing feelings and reading how others feel makes me feel not so alone.


I am getting through.... Just. But I miss him so. :(
