Yeah, I mean there is a BIG difference between making Superbowl jokes like some in the media do when it comes to Janet and saying that you think someone is a child molestor. Obviously,the later is much more damaging and hurtful so you can't expect Michael to do these kind of shows. Janet has not suffered the same type of scrutiny MJ has so of course she can still do talk shows like Leno, Letterman, Conan,etc.

I do agree with you about Tyra and Ellen though, esp. Ellen. She's always playing MJ's music on her show so I think she might be a fan, plus very rarely have I ever heard her bad talk anyone. She seems very nice and doesn't make jokes at people's expense. That's one of the only talk shows I think MJ might be okay doing.

Your right, and that's very rare in a comedian, so that's awesome with her.

I don't think Michael on the show would be the best thing though, I think things would go a little fast for him, he'd probably be acting same way as jermaine when he was on a comedie show, he didn't get one joke and sat there looking abit lost :lol: Like when the comedian/host made a joke on the fro's they had, calling them hats jermaine was all "oh, that was our hair!":lol:

Ah, bless him. The Jackson kids have lived an amazingly sheltered life, they really have and people are generally shocked that they are not as streetwise as other celebs, but they really are not. Much of this has to do with their religious upbringing, and the rest because they were so famous that it kept them isolated from the rest of society. This is why even MJ seems strange to people because he has led a sheltered life. I was surprised at how 'innocent' Jermaine was too.

I agree. I like Janet alot. But she didn't need to go to Perez for promo IMO. He has said some disgusting things about her when she was at her lowest point and he's still constantly bagging on Michael to this day. I hope she thought about that before she decided to give him a chance. And here Perez is gushing over her like he had given his right arm to even be in her space. But if she ever slips and falls again he's going to trash her to high heaven just like before. There are so many people who she could have appeared with who would support her through thick and thin. Why him?

I agree! Janet really makes me mad with her choices of who to talk too. Why would you go and sit on some phony's couch who has dissed the hell out of your brother ( your flesh and blood) just for album promotions. Then you sit there and laugh and giggle with them. That is not cool in my book
 
And to add to my original post, even if I put aside the fact that Perez still says vile things about Michael every chance he gets, the secondary fact remains that he was throwing fire Janet's way too and that should have been a red flag for her to stay away from him IMO.

This is more proof that Janet can't seem to stay away from people who trash her brother. I am not shocked that she went on that ugly clown's "show" but what do you expect from her media loving ass? Whatever. I hope all of this "promotion" does her good.

Perez Hilton is a media whore and needs a life. Anyone that makes a living trashing people's looks when they look like Porky Pig half brother need to sit their ass down and stop eating the cheetoes with the extra cheese and oily fat! Look at the dude's face - he needs to GET THE EFF out of here with that ish!

And to people who try to defend what Janet is doing - how can a "loyal" sister go on shows that trash her beloved brother's diginity and self being? As many times as I have issues with my brother, I will NEVER support any trashing against him. That is not how I was raised. I KNOW Janet was not raised to do what she is doing to her brother. All of this junk about PR - please! If she has to "lower" herself to promote her CD then SOMETHING is wrong with the CD. You have MJ, who never went on these shows and "whore" himself to promote his work. He lets the music speak for itself. However, Janet has to do all of this media promotion and she KNOWS that everyone will ask her about her brother, she does not seem to get it that maybe it is best to let the music speak for itself and respect her brother by DEFENDING him and telling these clowns the TRUTH about her brother. Janet barely does that. Janet seems to get what she wants in the end. That is not right.
 
There really has been for a long time this double standard of how they are treated in the mainstream media especially on entertainment shows cus they give janet props but trash her brother just cus he doesn't live the glamourous lifestyle of having cars, jewelry etc. while janet does and is able to go out whereever she wants while michael has to worry at all times when he steps out not to make a mistake or leave himself vunerable for a moment.
 
Wow I would think that Janet would have appeared on another show other than Perez Hilton's. Not only for the lack of respect that he shows towards her family members but his degradation of people, including himself, in general. Why him of all people Janet? She could have gone on Ellen, Tyra, or one of the many morning shows. Or even Oprah again but this guy? Janet, I'm very disappointmented at your obvious lack of good taste.

It's said that someone as retarded as Parez Hilton has some media power, and his idle showbiz gossip is taken seriously.

I can understand why Janet would appear on Jay Leno (I have a video of Janet kissing him on the lips on his tv show, YUK!!!), David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey's (she's very ugly without her heavy makeup) television shows, because they are longstanding high profile.

Janet does do too many interviews with people who've said really nasty things about Michael. It's highly unlikely Janet doesn't know what chat show hosts like Leno, Letterman, Oprah and Parez have said about Michael. I think at least with Leno and Letterman whom Janet seems to get in very well with, she should politely put them in line about they horrible jokes they've said about Michael. The Bees Gees and Diana Ross have put chat show hosts in there place when making jokes about Michael, and there not even his family, and Janet should do the same.

i agree. Janet should trust the power of her music, like MIchael does his. she shouldn't feel like her music depends on cowtowing to lowlifes.
 
Janet is fickle when it comes to that.. I guess album promotion is more important to her

I totally agree with you...I think Janet.. loves being the "good" Jackson... she has played the role quite well for years...

and lately.. I am finding her to be soooo phony....on a few things...
 
This was speculated last year and it looks like it's finally gonna happen Janet Jackson will be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel tomorrow night.
 
I hope Kimmel drops a line about MJ just to see if Janet will tell him off. Man what an awesome moment that'd be.
