nope reports are they will turn up to a memorial at the o2 which is reportedly being arranged for mikes b'day (aug 29th) but noting is confirmed and more then likely tabloid rubbish

I'm quite sure that his family won't come to the O2.
They have more important things to deal with than to travel overseas.

I'm sure though they will see reports from the vigil and be happy about our support!

I agree, they have more important things. But I do hope that us celebrating and showing the world our love for Michael is a comfort for them.

just turned 16 3 days ago

im asking some friends if they will come with me, i'll need a few of them to say yes to be allowed to travel there, so if they say yes i may be able to go, so ive got my fingers crossed

not sure how long i would be able to stay though

and i have no idea how long it takes to get to the O2 by tube from the main part of london which if anyone knew, would really help :)

You have to get on the Jubilee Line, and its around a half hour tube journey.
 
I thought the plan was 1pm at the club house @ Canary Wharf....then over to the O2 for 6pm?

i have heard on facebook that for fans attending the vigil at the O2 that commemorative keyrings are being made available.

I am soo upset and dissapointed that as much as i have tried, i cannot make the event :( , however i would still like to purchase a key ring... is this possible ?

Dont think so.. You were supposed to pick up your keyring at the O2. They're sold out now, so maybe you could send that girl who's making the keyrings a message to ask if she could send you one.
 
If the media are going to be there then after just now listening to the Steve Harvey interview where MJ says we should make a mountain of tabloids and burn them then if fans were to do this outside the O2 then it would really make an impact and after all it was Mikes wish.

They definitely won't let us do that!
Would have been a good idea, but it's too dangerous....
 
I have to admit that the closer the meeting at the O2, the more I'm worried I won't be able to take it.
I haven't been to any vigils yet, because I just wouldn't be able to handle the pain.
I'm really scared I will break down and somehow even start wondering if I should go at all :/
I haven't listened to his music since he passed :(

Anyone else feeling like this?

My idea was to take water ballons to throw at the tabloids that attened hehe we all know how much Michael enjoyed a water ballon fight :)
 
One of the only things I'm worried about is the fact I've been on this board for about two weeks or so and still getting accustomed to everyone and I just hope that tomorrow none of us will be strangers because it will be so lovely to meet you all in the flesh - hope this makes sense.

I was feeling like that about a week ago. I know it's going to be hard, but I'm more prepared for it now. If it's not too much of a journey for you, please come along. There'll be plenty there, you'll feel better when you see other fans. :better:
