MJJC joins Just Walk for Make A Wish!
15th May 2010

I have collaborated with the Legacy Project Team to bring you a gathering with a difference!!!

We are raising money for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK by taking part in a 10k walk over the south downs!
You can sponsor us at http://www.justgiving.com/mjjcjustwalk2010

Great news! We have reached our initial target of raising £200 - thank you to everybody who has donated so far!
Now lets see how much we can raise........ can we get to £250???!!!

After this event we have reserved a space at a local Wearherspoons, to have some lunch, chillout and relax.

And in the evening there is a Michael Jackson club night on in Brighton!

I think I've make a doodoo! I've worked out that I have volunteer training on this day and if i don't attend then I won't qualify for the post. If it wasnt so important I would skip it for sure.

This obviously means I cannot be put down as a confirmed member. i hope my other arrangements change, but untill then I cannot commit to the walk. So sorry. Wish I could be with you. Hope I haven't let you or Michael down. L.O.V.E. X

So annoyed that this is just before exams :( When is the latest i can confirm attendance? I would love to come, but if I have exams the week after it's probably not a good idea as there'll obviously be lots of revision to do!

I guess the latest you can confirm is when we get word back from the event organisers about payment. Or failing that you can still join us there and maybe register seperately?

Across The Divide have made an announcement!

"We are delighted to have Spirit FM as our 2010 media partner. It means that local folk in Chichester West Sussex will hear alot about Just Walk over the next few weeks plus on the day they'll be there with their music, presenters and lots of fun and games!"

Due to the success of the last one, we're hosting another Michael Jackson club night on Saturday 15th May. Thought it'd be a nice way to end the day after our walk too.

The club night will again be in Brighton at a place called the Western Front, which is five minutes walk from both the mainline station and seafront.

Time: 8.30pm - 1.00am (approx.) Tickets £4 on the door but everyone on the walk can obviously get in free. Just make sure you confirm whether or not you can make it and I'll put your name down on the guestlist.

We'll be playing the music of Michael, the Jacksons and the Jackson five and will take in all the hits.
