My comments on Alan' post:
Los Angeles (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's mother sat quietly in court on Wednesday watching as her lawyers fought loudly with attorneys for AEG, the concert promoter she accuses of contributing to the pop star's death.
I wonder what she was thinking? Was she thinking of how many million AEG might pay, or was she thinking of Michael, her son that she is ready and willing to throw under the bus in order to get mo’ money?
----------------------
The Jackson suit contends that AEG contributed to the pop star's death by pressuring him to prepare even though the promoters knew he was in a weak condition and by its hiring and supervision of Dr. Murray.
Contributed! We, as Michael’s fans should file class action suit against Jacksons as they are bigger contributor to Michael death than AEG never can be. They used and abused Michael since his childhood, and it didn’t stop to his death, they still using and abusing him.
How they explain that Michael was healthy enough to do tour with family, but he was too sick to do 02?
I think it is clear by now that who hired Murray and a far as I know, nothing has come out that AEG knew Murray was pumping Michael full of propofol, so there goes their theory AEG supervising Murray.
----------------------------
AEG asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos to punish the Jacksons by not allowing them to use those e-mails in next year's trial when they try to prove the promoter is liable for Michael Jackson's death.
Jackson lawyers denied anyone associated with their legal team or their clients leaked the e-mails, even suggesting AEG lawyers may have done it themselves as a set up.
Like somebody already said it, Mann, Katherine’s business partner already confessed, so why they even try to deny that it did not come from Jackson camp?
--------------------------
While publication of the e-mails might have made AEG look bad, they were "extremely negative against Michael Jackson," painting him "as a basket case," Jackson lawyer Deborah Chang said.
"It's much more negative about Michael Jackson than it is about AEG, by far," Chang said.
Did Katherine even thought of this while she was there?
During the Murray trial while there was a drug talk, but when Murray’s recording of Michael came public, opinion of him was changing dramatically. Even at that stage he was thinking of less fortunate, but if there is more crap to come out, the opinion can change again.
I wonder why Katherine lawyer even brought this up. To me it only makes Jackson camp look bad that they are prepared to let this happen to Michael’s memory?
------------------------------
The Jackson lawyers accused AEG of using the e-mail issue as a way to delay the wrongful-death trial.
"They've been very successful in tying us up completely and I am sure they are giggling about it back in the office," Boyle said.
AEG previously convinced the judge to delay the trial, which was set for last month, until next April.
Again Boyle is an idiot and I hope judge knows it too. The delay was on Jackson’s side. AEG was giving the requested emails and they had no problems to sit their depositions, but Jackson side was not prepared to do the same. AEG had to ask delay because Jackson’s didn’t do their part of the case. AEG has as much as anyone right to defend themselves, did Jackson camp thought they roll over and play dead?
----------------------
"This case is so strong that we very stringently argued this case should have gone to trial in September," Sanders said. "The only people that seem to be trying to keep this case from going forward are the defendants."
Yeah right! He is plowing hot air and trying to make AEG and public think they have a strong case. If they have so strong case, why silly letter from Randy and Co, in which he basically was crying help from estate? Why desperate granny-napping episode? Why all the delays of depositions? Why email-leak? All those actions screams they indeed have a weak case and they are trying to push AEG to settle.
------------------------
The anger and passion between the six Jackson lawyers and AEG's Putnam was evident with personal charges of bad ethics flying from both sides in court Wednesday.
The only bad ethics are coming from Jackson camp.
------------------------------
"I've never seen anything like it in my career," Jackson lawyer Brian Panish said. "They think they can just smirk around and make these defamatory statements without evidence."
Isn’t there a saying something like “Attack is the best defense”?
---------------------
The documents made public in the Times story are not the most damaging to AEG that were uncovered, Boyle told CNN.
"We can assure you that we are in possession of documents that make for an extremely compelling story in the wrongful-death case, and that completely support the plaintiffs' claims," he said.
Who he is thinking he is fooling? AEG knows what they have as AEG gave documents and emails to them.

It was unusual for the 82-year-old Katherine Jackson to attend such a hearing, suggesting the case is also very personal for her.
To me it suggest that they are desperate and wanted to bring Katherine there to show “grieving” mother’s face to the judge. The same way Katherine was used to talk Michael to perform with brothers.
And it is personal for her, her children’s (Michael’s siblings) whole future depends on this case.
