I wonder if it ever occur to Latoya when she was putting this book together how this may all blow up in her face. Well lets think about it Latoya says she found notes that that she thinks Michael wrote saying he really wanted his Father and he needed to get certain people out of his life. And he only agreed to do ten shows. Hm I will admit that I am little slow at times but to me at least if I were Conrad Murray's lawyers I would want to see those notes. Hell if he was that desperate maybe he did kill himself. Or if he was that worried maybe someone else did kill him. Because like Latoya has said Murray is just the fall guy. It would have made better sense to say he told me this on the phone it is just downright silly to say I saw notes because you never know who might want to see those notes. Nothing like a great big serving of reasonable doubt served up steaming hot by his sister

LaToya is pulling things out of her rear end. I wonder if she has any chapters in her book devoted to her famous sister Janet and her personal life? I also wonder is she is addressing all the pressure they put on MJ for concerts, deals, tours, money etc. etc. Yeah.... I think we all know the answer to those questions.

This book is yet another attempt to cash in by making excuses for herself and the family while making MJ look like an idiotic puppet. No thanks.

Some people seem more upset that their view of someone doesn't fit what they imagine. If she has proof then I am ready for it. That goes for all their claims. I am not invested in a certain image of Michael. That being said I would have thoroughly enjoyed this book if it was just about her earlier experiences. I don't trust them about Michael anymore but I do hope they have gathered concrete evidence for what they are saying and do more than just publish books and give interviews. I know its a long shot.

all I know is this is the first time I hear Latoya say she saw these notes herself. So like they gathered what they thought was drugs and gave to police maybe she got some sense and did something with them.

NEW YORK — La Toya Jackson writes in her new book "Starting Over" that the first question that ran through her mind after she learned of her brother's death was, "Who killed Michael?"


The book is scheduled to go on sale next week, two years after the pop star's death of a sedative overdose. Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, and trial is set for September.

La Toya Jackson says her brother often predicted he would be killed over his estate and music publishing catalog.

She also says she learned a lot about Michael's well-being in the days before his death. His daughter Paris told her that "Daddy was always cold" and that "he would always cry."

La Toya Jackson writes that she confronted Dr. Conrad Murray in the hospital shortly after her brother was pronounced dead to find out what happened and that he gave her only "evasion and excuses."

She also writes that she searched Jackson's bedroom and found it "torn to pieces," with furniture overturned and items scattered about. They included notes she believes were written by Michael indicating that he needed his father Joseph's help to get "these people out of my life" and that he "only agreed to 10 shows."

When he died on June 25, 2009, Jackson was a few weeks away from kicking off a string of 50 shows at The O2 Arena in London. Originally only 10 concerts were announced, but tickets sold out in less than an hour and 40 more shows were added.

La Toya Jackson writes that she heard from other people in Michael's life who were suspicious of his final days, including friends and fans.

She won't be the last of her family to share their story. Brother Jermaine Jackson has a book coming out in September.

I really like Latoya first book especially the chapter where she and mike searching the house for keep sake while everyone was at the funeral, if all of that was a lie, then why should we believed her know?

I'm sorry, I mean NO offense, but I have a hard time believing anything LaToya Jackson has to say.

I CERTAINLY don't believe that Michael wrote any "note" to Joe Jackson, unless said note said: "Leave Me Alone." LOL! She "most likely" added that little tidbit in order to big-up her father, but ah, folks ain't stupid LaToya, MOST people know what time it is when it comes to Joe Jackson and his son Michael.

As sad as it may be, I won't be shocked if she receives a LEGAL REQUEST from Murray's defense team, requesting that she turn over said notes. We have all seen how desperate Murray's defense team is and it appears that LaToya is playing right into their "we have no case, we need something to create reasonable doubt playbook."

It also appears that her book will be filled up with things already known and repeatings of 2nd and 3rd hand stories. Just as some had already stated long ago.

IF she has notes, I would hope that she has ALREADY passed them on to the proper authority, but she probably didn't, because, in my opinion, she doesn't have any dang notes. LOL!

She will CONTINUE to call Conrad Murray the "fall-guy" without adding anything new, because she doesn't know anything new or we would have heard about it a long, LONG time ago.

Chapter 37 A Legend is laid to rest. A legend? I thought he was her baby brother? For some reason that is how I think they see Michael and that makes me sad.

I know Michael Jackson had flaws. I loved him so much because of them not inspite of them. I would never have survived one year if I had to live his life. What impresses me the most though about Michael is that he always chose to love and come from a loving place. After everything that happened to him how easy it would have been to hate. Which is probably what I would have done but because of Michael's loving example for us I know now I would choose again.

Like somebody previously said I don't trust the Jackson's when it comes to Michael. He is not some stock that can be bought and traded. Why do they feel the need to make him look like some helpless baby that could hardly walk from here to there? Michael traveled the world several times over without any help from them for goodness sake. The Jackson's got into that Korean mess and Michael got himself out of it and the last time I checked the Jackson's are not. Why isn't that stealing BTW?

If the family insists on writing a book they should take a look at the book Jennifer Grant wrote about her dad Cary Grant. The only thing important to her was his great love for her and hers for him. It was a great gift that she is still cherishing to this day. He was a very private man and she is trying very hard to respect that. She has chosen to become a single mom to her baby boy Cary Grant. I can see Paris being like her.
