I don't know if anyone on here as heard this but this is the Demo of the song Lisa It's Your Birthday. I feel that this version of the song is so much better than the one that was used on the actual episode of The Simpsons

Yes, I have it, it leaked sometime late last year (along with She Got It and Work That Body.) It's really nice and relaxing to listen to, I love the melody. :)

Yeah, I agree. Here we really get to hear the difference from a bad fake MJ voice (voice-alike) in the Simpson elisode and the real stuff. Noone sings like Michael jackson, that´s easy to say after hearing this :)

oh my gosh, WHY have i never listened to this???? wow- I always though it had something to do with Lisa Marie Presley-lol.

I looove it! Now I've gotta put it on my ipod!

geez, I should be punished for never hearing this!

when was this made and what was the version that was used on the Simpsons?

Michael wrote it for his 1991 appearance on The Simpsons. He did the speaking voice of the character, but wasn't allowed to do the singing voice due to contractual issues with his label. So instead they had some voice impressionist named Kip Lennon do the singing parts, and he had to sing this song at the end, even though Michael had himself recorded it, which is what you hear in this clip.

Ah Ha.....thank you!

I think it was crap that Sony did that. Think of the record sales they could have pulled in for Dangerous when that happened? I think the episode aired either for the premire of Black Or White, or In The Closet. I'm not quite sure which one it was, but I do remember a video being debuted after the episode.

Ahh I love it!!!
I love the way he says "Happy..birthday...Li-sa" at the end with little gaps between the words lol i cant really explain  I love the way he says the last "Lisa" it's perfection.

Shame they couldnt use this on the show. Isnt it because they would of had to pay sony money for MJ to sing? Kinda stupid really, having to pay to use his own voice.

That man is just to much. His voice is like like butter. GOD that man can SANG! I will be bootleging this.

Thanks guys.
