Hmmm, I'd say Kurt Cobain is probably my all time favorite :)
 
I like Nirvana too, but Kurt Cobain isn't one of my fave . My fave guitarist is Jimmy Page and I also like Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Alvin Lee, Jeff Beck...
 
They all great and are all probably better than him playing wise, but what I really liked was the Kurt's style of playing, which I kind of play like as well :)
