"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Did anyone see this posted online about the Michael Jackson Biopic with the new release date?
[This could be a FANMADE and not from Lionsgate Films because as @MJJuniorSinceMW stated we can see
there is no official press release. Not from the estate. Not from the studio producing the movie
.]

Man, the music... and on the big screen!!!
This doesn't even qualify as a teaser, maybe it's a ... pre-teaser... It's still looks and sounds awesome though!!!

as i had planned !!!

part one ( april 26)
part 2 ( october 26).
Don't kid yourself there will be a Part 2. That's just something they're telling you to save face. It's very obvious that "Part 2" with be "delayed" and eventually it will be silently cancelled.

Think about it - they're treating this as a follow-up to Moonwalker. It's not in the interests of the PR department to talk about anything negative. This is just going to be 2 boring hours of people telling you how amazing Michael's voice was, and how clever and how kind he was, and how we should be impressed that he won so many awards. Yawn.

If Part one is successful then you can bet part two will happen and be released in 2027. Graham King is pushing for part 2 but it will all depend on how well the first film does.

A few things about the biopic:

-Don't take any media report to heart, especially Friedman who is a hack and is wrong more times than he is right.

-We have reports of one movie, two movies, no allegations, shifting to the 2005 allegations, etc. All contradictory.

-It will likely NOT be a fluff piece. They will for sure get into drug addictions, loneliness, abuse from Joe, changing appearance, etc

-The reality is that we simply don't know what this movie is going to include or not include so no need to get all wound up.

-What we saw last week was just a report from Deadline clearly leaked by Lionsgate, something more official is coming including a synopsis/poster for the movie.

Bottom line is if they do not address child sexual abuse allegations it is fluff period.

Where is official confirmation that the Friedmann article is a hoax?

There is literally zero point in this film unless these allegations (in any form) are not discussed and addressed.

What a waste of time for us fans who want Michael’s name to be cleared on such a big scale.

The shit continues to stick to Michael’s name

I can say with certainty this is not true.

Let me clarify just a bit. There is some accuracy in the post I responded to, but I can most definitely say whoever this information came from doesn't know what they're talking about or is making a lot up. Without saying too much, what is accurate has been mentioned in a public article in the past. If asked to confirm if a specific part is true, I can't, but with deductive reasoning, those who keep track of all the articles (or have a good memory) will figure it out.

Save my post, then you'll see that I'm right. You don't know me, so you can't judge. It's like those fans who always claimed that Breaking News wasn't fake, etc., or that Michael had no problems at the This Is It rehearsals. Everything was considered fake. The truth was different.

You're right I don't know you, I know me and I know what you stated is not accurate. I am not judging anything about you.

They never needed to address any specific set of allegations. Just show MJ hanging out with children, show that some parents were after his money, show the media spreading rumors about his relationships with children, show MJ meeting with police and his legal team, show that MJ was pressured into paying a settlement, and that's it.

But it's not that necessary to cover that part of MJ's life at all. Just show how MJ was hounded by the media in general; how he came to be known as eccentric and how it affected by the name "Wacko *****".

Michael didn't meet the chandlers when his car was burning. He had car troubles. but it wasn't burning. Thats a totally different story Michael told about how Billie Jean came to him. But OK bud

I'm sure your inside source, who is just repeating stuff that has already been put out there by the media and quacks like Belloni, is totally credible

You're being very nice, cause I'm fairly certain nothing in that post is correct.

I suspect that if they leave out the subject, there will be one bad review after another. Critics will say they have something to hide. Bohemian Rhapsody also addressed uncomfortable topics like Mercury's HIV infection. But from an Estate that puts fake songs on an album, you can only expect a fake biopic.

OK first All people involved have said that Jaafar is the total embodiment of his Uncle Michael! It more or less is Michael the way he portrays him. Secondly I would more believe Travis 3000 as I have done many times than most people on here. Just looking at the dates these people started on here was a long time or on the time Michael died.i will never forget that day or the days after listening to the crap that AEG spouted! It was sad to think that we would never hear that gentle voice and welcoming smile that he gave to all his fans. This is too important for this estate and many others to mess up, plus the kids are all over this as well with Prince in production and also the Paris checking as well. This is It!

A few days ago I watched about half of the Whitney Houston biopic. Basically I turned my TV over and it was on. I maybe saw the last 40 minutes.

It was ok. There was certainly some balance in that it showed her in a positive and a negative light. I didn't think there was enough music.

I maybe wouldn't expect an MJ biopic to cover his death - after all that doesn't define him. But the allegations do define him, and certainly influenced his music. You simply can't leave out a major part of his life like that.
