I don't care enough to be positive or negative about the movie. It is what it is. It's not my job to be enthusiastic. I have no control over his good it is, and take no benefit from its success. It's like some of you are desperate to be negative about this movie.
Fandom obsession is the answer. Their self worth is explicitly connected with the products the estate release and how MJ is perceived.I don't care enough to be positive or negative about the movie. All I can do is wait for the movie to come out, and then decide whether to watch it or not, and then form an opinion about whether it's good or bad.
I'm not gonna talk it up or talk it down, or start jumping around just because there's a couple of seconds of a "teaser trailer" it whatever it is people are getting excited about.
My happiness does not depend on the film breaking box office records or whatever. I couldn't give a shit how much money Sony's lawyers stand to make. My sense of self-worth is not linked to whether critics or other fans enjoy the film. It's literally irrelevant.
I'm honestly baffled why some people on here take it as a personal insult just because people have doubts about the quality and/or truthfulness of this movie.
The mania of the 1980s wasn’t just about a man. It was about the way that man, the King of Pop, bent time, culture, and commerce to his will. It was about the arrival of a new era, one where Black brilliance reigned supreme.
