"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

That would be quite awesome!!!
1. Would they connect such an occasion to his Superbowl performance in 93?
2. Would an MJ tribute performance, something in the style of the MTV Awards tribute with all the lookalikes and even Janet at the end, be something to ponder over?
I never actually thought of that. Would be amazing if they were to have artists of today do a tribute to tie in with the trailer. Would for sure be great promotion for the film!

Well you just took it to the next level... I merely thought about lookalikes doing an amazingly coreographed performance. Now it it included stars of today... I don't know... I don't know any stars of today... Are they any good? 🫣

This year's Superbowl might be postponed because of what happened recently in New Orleans.

I can really picture a small teaser/appetizer at the Super Bowl. Maybe even something performing related, since Kendrick Lamar (who's a Michael fan of course) is gonna perform?

I wonder what would be a better advertisement - a teaser/trailer or a performance?

Early April. I reckon they’ll drop the teaser at Cinemacon
I'm still holding out hope for a Superbowl teaser at least. They've had the basic edit since the first footage screening back in April. If lionsgate really believes in the movie as much as hyped his would be the way to put their money where their mouth is.

I don't see this happening at all.

Coleman Domingo on portraying Joe Jackson in New interview with W Magazine. "When people see me as Joe Jackson, they're going to notice that I don't look like myself at all. I completely transform. My skin is lighter because Joe was a bit more fair-skinned.
"I had prosthetics on top of my head above my eye, and my nose is different. And then the costumes. We really leaned into the different periods of Joe, where he was a little bit younger and slicker and a bit more of the hustle."And then when he started to have his little pooch, I needed that pooch. And the pants were riding right underneath, like all the men that I know that wear their bellies proud."

Well... is this is real... the sparkle in the eye is on place!
The full thing is sweet. Apparently, Colman Domingo posted it as one of his 2024 highlights although someone said it's been deleted, someone else said no, it hasn't 🤷🏽‍♀️

"Colman Domingo posted his 2024 highlights on insta and one of the photos is of Juliano Krue, who plays little Michael Jackson, likely from the biopic set"

Another mass shooting and the guy also drove his truck into a crowd celebrating the New Year, running over people. Altogether, he killed & injured around 45 people. The Superbowl is in New Orleans this year.
😲 OMFG!!!!!!!!! UNBELIVEABLE

Not to take away from what happened, it is a terrible tragedy. But just to clarify, there was no mass shooting. He drove a truck killing 14 innocent party goers.

It is off topic I agree. But there is no movie news, there never is.
It's true.

Someone has posted a thread on X - once again referencing some of the production crew. Bc that's where we are right now, lol. Naturally, I'm going to post it here. :ROFLMAO: 🤷🏽‍♀️
