Interesting I've always thought of Elton John when thinking about a musician that has something in common with Mozart, esp after I watched the movie Amadeus. Both great pianists (Mozart sill played harpsichord, still...) and both great composers in their own style. Both flamboyant (at least in the movie Mozart was quite flamboyant). As Mozart Elton has the gift of listening to a piece and play it by ear.

I love this particular scene.

I could see why Lang Lang himself would also be able to relate to Michael. Lang Lang has also had his share of getting the 'public beatings' for blurring the lines of 'acceptable in a classical setting', doing things his way. Not surprised!
