Actually, it's more like "vintage," since castrati singers (that's what you would call singers who got castrated as children, as Pace points out in her reply) existed during the 16th century, and even as late as the 18th and 19th century, with decreasing popularity. They were initially used by the Catholic Church for singing hymns.

The last known castrato voice is Alessandro Moreschi, who was born in 1858. In this day and age, it is obviously very illegal to castrate children for this purpose, and probably considered child abuse, so there is no way any reputable doctor would agree to do the procedure.

By the way, for those who are interested, this is what a castrato's voice sounds like. This is a recording made by Alessandro Moreschi, the castrato singer I referred to earlier in this thread. As you can see, his singing voice is extremely high--Michael's voice was never anywhere near this high:

Right.. I called him that way, because he seems like one of these pseudo-doctors today acting like children-abusing CIA agents, the cause of many, I'd say, American children/artists ending up killing themselves early or in strange cults.. Know what I mean..? Very bad taste..

And this goes to further confirm that anyone with horror on their mind is welcome by the media to share their.... non-healthy phantasms/fascinations with Michael. ...
 
^He's no MKULTRA doctor, if that's what you're referring to. He's just some quack who wants to sell a book, and is citing an obscure and long since forgotten practice to 'back up' his hypothesis before a generally ignorant public. His claim ultimately has no concrete evidence to validate it, because the entire idea is simply ridiculous.
 
Yeah, he does seem very ignorant. Maybe I've read too many accounts from masons proclaiming themselves to be between average and really dumb on forums filled with God-hating (literal, not referring to mere atheists, but haters) folks... As if a mason would ever come clean about themselves, right? And as if anyone of an important occupation would self-undermine themselves in public like that.

But, yes, that doctor is just acting on his creepy phantasms and making a quick buck simultaneously.

So, it would appear that this nut job believes that every male artist who can sing falsetto has probably been castrated. Silly fool. :doh:

Why is there always someone trying to take something away from MJ? Now his singing talent is fake?! Please! How can anyone find such B.S again written about MJ interesting? Don't waste ur time on Tabloid trash and people trying to make money off him!

Just because he is Michael Jackson doesn't mean every story written about him is plausible! In fact that's what many in the media and in interviews I've seen say in order to reel in the bate (the public) to believe their BULL SHIT!

They are the ones who made up that caricature Wac.ko Jac.ko they try to betray MJ as and they will do anything to keep this crap alive, that's how they make their dirty money!

I spit on this "Doctor's" name and people just like him!
 
Prince can sing really high, sometimes even higher than Michael, and with all the ladies he's been with, I think it's safe to say he's also not castrated.
