Michael Jackson Worldwide Chart Performance Thread

T25 sold another 47,000 copies worldwide this week, Its 12 week total now stands at 1,804,000 copies sold worldwide
 
Wow.

Most artists are lucky to sell 2 million copies of a new studio album. Many albums also drop down to the 47,000 mark after two or three weeks of release. That's phenomenal. If Billboard didn't let the album chart at number 2, then that means the album totals are being added to "Thriller", bringing it's total sales up by almost 2 million in a matter of weeks.

I know, this truly shows how massive Michael Jackson is and just think how much more a new album would sell!!!

Thriller 25th Anniversary Edition drops 11 places on the UK Albums Chart this week to #32.

In its 13th week in Ireland, Thriller 25 has fallen 11 places to No.74.

In its 13th week in Spain, Thriller 25 has fallen 6 places to No.21.
 
In its 13th week in Italy, Thriller 25 has fallen 19 places to No.82.
 
who else could have a 25 year old album still doing this kind of damage? incredible. if MJ dropped a New Album right now he would do some crazy numbers.
 
Thriller 25th Anniversary Edition drops 7 places to #68 on the Official Swiss Album Charts this week.

Does the best selling year to date only include sales from this year? I ask because when I first saw the numbers for the albums on the list it looked like a lot of the top albums had carryover from last year.
 
In its 13th week in the US Billboard Top 100 Comprehensive album chart, Thriller 25 falls 4 places to No.63 although sales have actually increased slightly this week.

In its 13th week in Canada, Thriller 25 falls 3 places to No.63. Number Ones falls one place to No.39.
 
In its 13th week on the danish chart Thriller 25 drops 3 places to no. 34. - Still impressive I think!
 
T25's sold 44,000 copies WW this week :punk:, nearly the same as last week! Its total WW sales now stand at 1,848,000 copies. :punk: I expect the figure to rise next week coz of DWTS's effect :D
 
In its 14th week on the Spanish album chart, Thriller 25 remains at No.21.

Thriller 25 is No.17 this week on the mediatraffic global album chart, selling 44,000 copies.

Dang, this website charts everybody all over the world and Michael is at Number 2? That just goes to show you just how much of a world artist Michael really is. It is a shame for the US music industry to ignore the rest of the world. How ethnocentric they are.
