I don't think a soap opera writer could come up with all these good twists and turns in a storyline.
My heart really goes out to three kids, - most people's families have some form of dsyfunction in them, I know mine dones. But to have it played out for the whole world to see? That is truely awful.
Personally I think the Estate is doing a fantastic job, - they have made successful business decisions, sorted out alot of the debt mess and are well on their way to providing a financially secure life for Michael's three children. I honestly can not see why Michael had to provide for everyone in his family, as those who signed the letter (and some that didn't) seem to think. In the accountancy world I work in, there is an expectation for someone to take care of their children, not extended family. It never ceases to amaze me, that the world had to different for Michael, and what he could do.
I have never had alot of time for other members of the Jackson family, and now - it is even less. Just a personal opinion here... many were surprised at Janet's signature being on a letter - I think it might say alot about her own finances. She has been very good at keeping that sort of thing out of the press, but think about it.... no real hits in a long time, haven't toured a hell of a lot in the last decade compared to other artists, most movies have tended to go straight to DVD in my part of the world. I hope she has some good investments somewhere, and that they have weathered the financial crisis, otherwise she will be no different than other members of her family.
Anyway, this whole thing is just a giant mess. Sadly for three kids, they have a very clear lesson on how their family now works (if they were in any doubt before). Paris' tweet about the last hug, that is something that hits hard. At times like this, I hope she knows that we all wish Michael was still here.
