I love this. It reminds of a Nick Cave interview I read this week in the Sunday Times. Not hugely interested in the man's music but he always does a good interview. He's been asked more than once for his thoughts on AI songwriting. Here's one comment he made:
"[AI is] not vulnerable enough to create something that's convincingly transcendent."
ah bloody good find zin . im not touched by nick n the bad seeds either ,i think that one is , did a thingy with ms Minouge and that wasnt for me anyway i deff. agree with his views on AI! yeah that word transcendent , even transcendence , that did come up actually
as i tried to explain but all my emotion got in the way but i am so glad that people do see the damage n cosequence n not using it for quick profit or gain. Not the intelligent ones anyway. ooh zin i tell ya im so incessant of the effing thought of AI.It's been on my mind.
The interview was conducted by Rowan Williams - who I absolutely adore - and he had this to say:
"Art comes from a specific, unique human place - particular and unrepeatable experiences of grief and joy. What would the consequences be if we start expecting art to give us the emotions we think we want? Isn't art more to do with discovering what we didn't know we needed?"
Human Place. Exactly . 100 percent. That's the thing...that is the thing here. Exactly. Art is real, Humans identify with humans since the start of time . Nevr gonna be replaced with fake robotica ! and true, raw artistry comes through on every level to each person on a personified level...even a surprise. Did me. and Nick nailed that . We need ti more artist to speak up if it gets to that point . that's why i it felt alright , to ....borrow Michael's words last night to try to understand the level of the potential threat looming.

Yeah , that's the same here. I have noticed that as well. It is a whole new take on those photos i think. That's really special. I see his aura in some of these photos. Especially those one you and lin posted
Would love to be able to say something profound about that but don't have the brain capacity. But I think it's awesome! It feels meaningful but I can't quite put my finger on it. Pah!

This is art, Little to no rules - We are focusing on his centre , his core - see, it just took on YET another meaning haha it is the whole package. i think this thread can speak for us in many ways , and it is automatically crystalline to me.
I've def gone crazy for the Bad photos but I so often do.
