I've noticed this item currently 'for sale' on e-bay...I use quotation marks because of the price, which is hardly a sum anyone would be willing to pay, I think.

I wondered whether this is a well-known photo...I'm not very familiar with this topic as I never took much notice of it, except to feel sorry that Michael was trapped in this way.

I wonder whether this is a genuine original or just a print from some well-known source. If original, who might be selling ( maybe not the ebay seller but an 'original' seller.)

Any thoughts?

??? It's not Jordan, the kid doesn't even look like him.. I had never seen this picture, but it looks like it was taken in the 80s, Michael met Jordan in 92. The price is funny, though ...
 
This photo is not new (i'm not sure whether it's well-known or not, but i saw it many times on different MJ boards). For the first time i saw it several years ago/
It's not Jordan. This boy looks much more like Jimmy Safechuck but i really think it's not him either
 
If they are attempting to sell a well known photo at that price at least they should get their facts right about who is in the pic. It's not Jordan. Doesn't even look like him.

True...but it does look a rather professional photo, (eg the angle of the boy's hat is just tipped away enough so as to show Michaels face in full). I wouldn't mind a copy if MJ was on his own!

I guess this is in the same ebay category as the 'genuine' signed basketballs for 75000 etc. There is always someone trying to make a quick few hundred thousand bucks.

I have a tape with Jordan and his mother and sister at the World Music award with MJ in 1993. I can not stand to watch it to know this kid lied on MJ.
 
Why would anyone believe someone they think or trying to pass on as Jordan Chandler w/MJ (which is clearly not) worth that much? :blink: CTFU

Anyway, I seen the pic many times before and it's def not Jordan Chandler. Looks like Jimmy Safechuck but, can't remember?

That is not jordy as michael looks like in his early 20s and that was around 1982. Michael met jordy & his family much later i think in the start of the 90s, so it definately anit jordy in that pic
 
That is SO not Jordan. and Michael met Jordan way after Michael looked like he did in that pic

I couldn't stand that mug on his face either. I just wanna punch him and spit right at his friggin' lying face.
