Re: Update: MJ Estate files supplement to their complaint against Melissa Johnson and HTWF
My understanding is that her duty is limited to making sure the Estate (Branca and McClain) is doing a good job for the children's benefit and future. She probably wouldn't have the authority to talk about under the table deals going on between Katherine - Mann - Johnson because she's a court appointed guardian ad litem for official probate of the Estate.
However if the executors of the estate is challenged any way I believe she can respond to that on children's behalf. (Remember when Joe wanted to remove the executors and that she was against it).
Ivy, I know Autumn asked this queation but I am curious as well. Can the guardian ad litem do anything to protect these children? I mean their financial interests are potentially being affected here. I know that's not our only concern but is it the only one she can address?
I don't know for certain, but it seems like this is something she COULD address. Mann/Katherine are adversarial with the estate. With the estate, it's certain that the money will revert to the children when they come of age. With Mann's enterprises, and Katherine's, there is no guarantee at all that the children would see ANY of the revenues.
The guardian ad litem doesn't oversee their emotional well-being, or any kind of social-work types of things. She DOES oversee their financial well-being, and this fake (IMHO) charity does impact their finances. So, where IS she?
