I don't get how they want to have a civil relationship with estate when they have slandered Branca and called him everything but a child of God. Are they serious? "You are a crook, but we want to be civil, because we want you to give us money." Alright then.

drama in mj land never take any vacation i guess .what katherine is doing is just wrong.we as mj fans needs to show mann and jackson that we are not blind ,we don't make opinion just by reading tabloids or for that matter main stream media.we do our own research ,go for legal documents then make decision(old habit i guess).i am really worried about mj3 ,katherine is doing same thing what she did to Michael .i must say history is repeating in front of our own eyes,EXPLOITATION TO N'TH LEVEL. no body is thinking about them.i don't know why but now days part of we've had enough is buzzing in my head,"Love was taken from a young life

I don't think Katherine should really be blamed personally and the Estate share that sentiment. Sadly she is surrounded by charlatans, including her own family, so desperate for a piece of the pie. When Katherine passes, 80% of the Estate's earnings will go to the children and the children only, hence the rush to make as much money now.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think she's an innocent victim here. I just dont think she's an evil witch either. My opinion is she's a mother, and she's being manipulated as such. I believe she sees Michael's money as the Jackson family's money, and not as the kids'. She must think they will be taken care of by their uncles and aunts when she passes. Which is a huge mistake.
Now on the other hand, I dont think she's an appropriate guardian for those kids. And she doesnt seem to care at all about what Michael wanted for them.

that's what I think. She has always been like that. When people said mike could have done the victory tour better by himself she was like 'no its better with all the brothers' and she was very into them all being together in 2001.

It's good way of putting it. It's easy to think that way with someone else's money though... She's also the one who talked MJ into staying with his brothers when he first wanted to work solo. In her own words : "you dont need your brothers, but your brothers need you". To me it says a lot about the way she saw Michael.
But this time, she's really going too far.

They are showing a lot of patience ... I want them to go after her rip her apart, she'd deserve it, she shows no signs of backtracking or remorse, none whatsoever. She's never been as passionate while going after Murray as she's been when it comes to make illegal money and going after the Estate. I don't care what her mental son tells her about Murray, this woman is 80 plus years old, she should KNOW that she is WRONG for everything she does.

I have to say that I agree with your comment and I've generally stayed away from this subject. I would like to believe that all this bickering is about charity but I would be lying to myself. I guess Katherine forgot her previous statement "it's about need not greed" and she wasn't referring to HTWF. If she needs additional money, she has a right to make the request to the executors or the judge and the request will be deemed legitimate or not. If charity is the objective, not misappropriation of her sons money, why not start a new charity or donate to an existing one in Michael's name? I think we all know the answer to that. Fighting over Michael's money is really none of my business because I have no say in the matter. What really angers me is when I read that Mrs. Jackson has hired two high priced lawyers to fight the legitimacy of a suspect charity headed by a woman labeled a stalker by her son, she's publicly praised a pornographer who's lied on her (Destiny remix) and said he could care less about her son except to make money from exploiting him yet we never heard a peep from her or her attorney's about that autopsy show or that ridiculous book by Carl Toms, admitted pedophile. I was one of those fans writing to Discovery Health Channel and publishers of that book demanding that both projects are aborted. The estate doesn't escape my criticism in this matter but she is his mother. If she's lawyering up and making public statements about this long defunct charity or a tacky AI comment can't she say something about a show dissecting an artificial replica of her son for entertainment or a book depicting her son as a pedophile? It's not like many fans didn't tweet or post Facebook comments to her family so she had to know about them, yet she remained silent. Anyway, sorry for the long post.

Objections are filed by the both sides. Not surprisingly both sides are arguing that the witnesses from other sides testimonies are hearsay, irrelevant, personal opinion, lack personal knowledge etc.

HTWF Lawyer's filed their Final Brief as well. Their main point is similar to what Melissa Johnson said in her testimony before. They argue that "she acted with authorization granted by Michael through his representatives and with blessing of his beneficiaries Katherine Jackson (and his kids)". They again say that they didn't need a licence because they are the same thing as Michael. They state all their arguments will be supported by Oxman and Bain and Katherine.

Interestingly "Michael intended his family and his kids to continue on with HTWF" is added. I wonder how they come to this conclusion. It's quite a stretch from "Michael gave me his authorization to run HTWF" to "he wanted his kids involved in it". Even if you go with his will he wanted 20% to be given to a charity chosen by a committee, in no place he wants his family and kids be involved in the charity.

and a tidbit: the agreed facts state that Melissa Johnson have not ever spoken with Michael.

20% for just 1 charity ? I didn't know that.

I thought that Mike gave 20% of his money for several charities.

The vultures are everywhere now. It's so pathetic to run after money like this.
