MJ Forever Tribute/ MJJC Statement / Estate statement / Fan letter pg51/ GLE put on administration

The production costs were to high. They knew the revenues from this concert would not cover costs or make enough money but went a head anyway - knowing they would go under and an unable to pay. That is why the day of the concert the promoters disbanded / left the company. The knew upfront this was a fiasco. The Jacksons were also aware upfront that this was spiraling down a big black hole becuase Lotaya was hands on with the planning and organising of this concert.

As I said near beginning, this concert went on mostly out of pride than financial reasons. The moment the ticket sales slumped and they couldn't get the broadcasting rights, they should had cancel or at least talk to the estate, which would had caused a sever delay. But, because the Jackons didn't want to make bigger fools of themselves to the public and the music industry, especially after the KISS fiasco, they went on with the show and stood in denial of their own short comings.

The blamed fans and they blamed the media, when they should had looked into the mirror. They can only blame themselves for any of this and that entire family should be sued.

So Henry and Hunt bail out on the day of the concert, like rats leaving a sinking ship. What fine company Latoya keeps.

^^Well it will not be us. We are not cleaning up any messes that we did not cause. Of course they will blame us for this mess claiming we caused the tribute to fail. We should be very proud since we prevented thousands of people from being victimized.

Yep excatly!

Do you think this is why Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Hudson dropped out? They knew things were not on the up and up?

I think they realised doing the tribute show at the time of the trial was just wrong

I'm glad the media is picking up on this story. Perez Hilton now has it.

Forgot to post this last night. Was googling global live to see if anythings happened and found this, if anyone's interestsed in why we never got to see the sky broadcast.

The reason the concert was pulled was nothing to do with the estate not granting rights, but with the outside broadcasters not getting paid, apparently, £100s of thousands. Global live's financiers seem to have pulled the plug and not paid the broadcasters so they're not releasing the footage. Chris hunt seems to be still around doing his damage limitation.

Is there any thread for the Japan tribute (cant find it)

Or perhaps noone cares anymore? LOL

Anyway, Jackie, Tito and Marlon are in Japan now...

Tribute is going to take place next week

"The shows will feature Americans Macy Gray and Judith Hill, as well as Japanese recording stars Crystal Kay (who is actually half African-American and half Korean), Jay'ed, Juju, and Tortoise Matsumoto. Despite missing the sizzle of stars like Beyonce and Christina Aguilera who appeared at a similar MJ tribute in Cardiff, Wales on October 8, the Tokyo shows promise to have a unique Japanese flavor.

To round out the shows MJ's director of choreography for "This Is It" Travis Payne and dancers Kento Mori, and Yuko Sumida Jackson (no relation to the Jackson family), the only Japanese dancer to appear on stage with Michael, will perform the King of Pop's signature boogie moves."

Heavy D
Cause of Death Revealed

1227-heavyd-tmz-ex.jpg

Heavy D died from a pulmonary embolism caused by deep leg vein thrombosis ... and a long flight back to L.A. from a Michael Jackson memorial concert may have been a contributing factor.

A pulmonary embolism is a blockage of one or more arteries in the lungs -- most often caused by blood clots which travel in from other parts of he body. In Heavy's case, the clot was formed in his legs.

Days before Heavy died, he was on a flight back from Europe, after performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales.

Officials from the L.A. County Coroner's Office say Heavy also suffered from heart disease, which could have been a contributing factor in his death.

The Coroner's Office has classified the death as "natural."

As TMZ first reported, Heavy died on November 9, 2011. He was 44-years-old.

Deep leg vein thrombosis is often associated with long plane flights, in which a clot can form due to prolonged immobility.

I hope this will be a good lesson to those who like to rush out and buy anything with Michael's name attached to it. Hopefully consumers/fans will do more research whenever they hear the Jackson family is planning a Michael event/show/merchandise.
