In Celebration of the MJ IMMORTAL WORLD Tour coming to the O2 Arena in London (12[SUP]th [/SUP]Oct - 20[SUP]th[/SUP] Oct)- finally being able to hear MJ’s music at this great venue and 2012 being the 25[SUP]th[/SUP] ANNIVERSARY year for the CLASSIC BAD ALBUM, We are pleased and honoured to announce

THE MICHAEL JACKSON SPECTACULAR FAN TRIBUTE EVENT “MJ SPECTACULAR”

To be held on Sunday 14[SUP]th[/SUP] OCTOBER 2012 at the IndigO2 at the O2 from 12pm-6pm. This really promises to be one of the biggest MJ Fan Tribute days to ever be held and is a MUST ATTEND EVENT for all die hard MJ fans and the more casual MJ fan alike.

MJ SPECTACULAR is brought to you by MJ-LIVE-TRIBUTES an organisation that focuses on working with the MJ Fan clubs from around the world to bring you the BEST MJ Fan related events possible

VENUE: INDIGO2

There really isn’t a more fitting and perfectly amazing venue than the IndigO2 at the O2. It is a 1min walk away from the O2arena where the Immortal Tour will be taking place the very same day/weekend and perfect for fans to attend both events – put simply THIS IS A MICHAEL JACKSON WEEKEND FOLKS!

DATE: SUNDAY 14th OCTOBER 2012

Sunday was deemed to be the perfect day because all feedback from fan clubs suggested that fans wanted to attend an event where they had a day off from work and could relax. Sunday is a family day and as such we the MJ fan family will get a chance to be together.

Previous MJ Fan events in London in the 90’s and early 00’s were also Sunday events and major successes.

THE MICHAEL JACKSON SPECTACULAR FAN EVENT “MJ SPECTACULAR” will be one of a kind with the opportunity to
Watch a BREATHTAKING 4 HOUR MJ TRIBUTE SHOW which includes for the FIRST TIME EVER some of the WORLDS GREATEST MJ TRIBUTE ACTS performing LIVE on one stage under one roof. Many of our artists have at some point either WORKED WITH or been GIVEN the stamp of approval by the KING OF POP Michael Jackson. (See artist section for more details. We really have the best of the best) plus we will have some very special guests from the MJ world....watch this space.



  • Win Dance and costume competitions, MJ related prizes.
  • A chance to meet and greet other MJ fans and dance away to our resident MJ music DJ.
  • VIP ticket holders to meet and greet the world class performers as well as the special guests in our VIP area

MJ FAN CLUBS ACROSS THE WORLD
WE WISH THIS EVENT TO BE A MEANS BY WHICH THE ENITRE MJ FAN COMMUNITY across the world will come together and celebrate the Life and work of the KING OF POP MICHAEL JACKSON whom we so dearly miss and L.O.V.E.

Currently we are working with one of the largest online MJ Fan clubs “MJJC” who have been fantastic but we also welcome and encourage support from all MJ FAN CLUBS across the board and look forward to working with you all. If you feel you can assist in any way or have future projects you wish to put forward or collaborate on please get in touch via our contacts page.

AMATEURS PERFROMERS
As this is a MJ Fan event we thought it would be a nice idea to have a slot for the more casual amateur MJ performer. If you think you are as good as our TOP professional tribute acts or simply wish to get on stage and show us your MJ dance moves or singing in front of 2000 MJ fans @IndigO2 then we would like to hear from you!!!! The slot may be no longer than 10mins but nevertheless a great opportunity. Please send us your videos, your youtube links, pictures etc you don’t have to be the best dancer/singer or lookalike but you have to have that MJ X FACTOR and be exciting to watch!!...GOOD LUCK...and who knows see you soon!!


In aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Registered Charity no. 235825
MJ SPECATCULAR will also be raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) by donating a portion of any profits to this charitable trust and also by raising funds on the day of the show. Volunteers from GOSH will be in attendance. Please support this wonderful cause that MICHAEL JACKSON himself supported and visited the hospital numerous times while he toured London.

Seems fun... but I'm not in the UK... I would love to go, but I don't know.
 
London isn't exactly around the corner for me, and i've been to plenty of MJ fan events and tributes already, somehow i was expecting something else. Great for the ones who can go and are going though. And for the ones behind this, i wish you all the luck.
 
Great thing for UK fans. I would like something like that to happen somewhere near my town or country. MJ event for Balkan region. Maybe some day. Enjoy UK fans..

This event sounds wonderful for those that will be able to attend...I hope you all have a wonderful time...:) setting up an event the size of this is not easy....thank you again for thinking about us. xoxo. Wherever the event is held, there are going to be people who can't attend, thats just life. Fans from different countries will be there for the Immortal concerts anyway, I think it will be great and I look forward to going :)

From the start it was explicitly said that this was NOT an event related to Sony or MJ Estate - so it was obvious that this was not a new song, not Bad 25 announcement , not a new release etc and it was said to be a fan related event. It was explicitly said from the beginning.

It is also impossible to come up with an event that anyone and everyone can attend. Hopefully UK and European fans going to the cirque shows can use this as an get together.

But I can't go to UK to attend.

This event sounds exciting! For those who are able to make it, I wish you one of the best time in your lives.

Gaz, good luck with all the logistics! I planned a small farewell party for my coworker once and there were so much involved. I can imagine the amount of effort you put in.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. London in the year when the Olympics takes place is a little out of my affordability.
 
well I tweeted this link to all of my followers on twitter so that they would know to come here to MJJC and check out the details of this event should they be able attend. :)
 
I will try to see if I can go to London that weekend. It's cheap flying to London from Denmark, so if the weekend is free I will try to be there. Sounds cool, and would be great to meet some of all the great fans here in real life.

GAZ - It must have been a huge job to organize this, so I applaude you for doing this for the fans! Hopefully it will be a great day/weekend. - Actually, no doubt it will!

MJ day for the fans with the fans. - Now MJ's dead - this is the best thing we've got! :)
 
Guys, with Michael now gone, this O2 tribute is probably the best Gaz can do. He made it clear it's not Sony-related. We have to better manage our expectations.

For me Michael Jackson day is every day in my life. I know we all honor him daily and not all of us live in the UK. I wish to everybody attending a good time and to every one of us who will not attend to give all our love and appreciation to our beloved Michael in any way that we can!

I know. It seems as there have been much work put into this and its bigger than all former fan events. Ive never heard you can buy tickets to fan events on ticketmaster lol so this must be something else.

Wish people could be more grateful though :S

Yeah we bought tickets on ticketmaster for the one in Vegas. At least I did. This is going to be a party weekend, so it definitely will be cool.
 
Well, my intuition (of hobby dancer lol) told me it had to be an event like this :) but I see it is even bigger than I thought! I so appreciate that Gaz organized this for us fans and it brings me in such a great mood.
Although I won't be able to join the event I am very enthousiastic and very glad for the fans that will be there. (Will you be there? ;))
