This is actually a very good suggestion
Although I would rather just have Gaz add 4 or even 5 regular moderators instead. I admin two facebook groups of 80 000 and 15 000 members and moderators always drop off for various reasons. As I understand it Hiker is no longer a moderator and its only Gaz left as admin. And we´ve seen other respected moderators leave the forum completely as well sadly, its just the way it goes.
More moderators also means less workload for the moderators and less chance of burn outs and moderators leaving for that reason. With only 2 moderators all it takes is for someone to get sick or absent and there is only one left to steady the ship!
I do not think this forum is that hard to moderate as mostly we are all on the same page, so I am hopeful whoever is selected will be able to make the small adjustment needed for this place to be even better
At last, I will keep my fingers crossed that there will be more than 2 new sheriffs in town because I think its really needed and the right way to go long term
