'Monkey Business' appreciation thread

Ooohhh, this is one of my favorites. I love the way he sings, "Don't you start no stuff with me..." first verse. And yes, I think he says, MF near the end. Love it. Sexy and funky.

 
It is a great song, but is really elevated near the end with Michael's amazing ad libs and I challenge that these are one of his greatest ad lib sections in his entire catalog. However I agree ultimately with Michael's decision to keep it off Dangerous.

I love the song too. So funky.
A little bit too much monkey sounds at the beginning but it's ok.

What do you guys think inspired Michael to write thins song? Seeing his brothers messing with women I think.

Yes,he did say it,this song is a a diss to Jermaine because Jermaine had kids with Randy's Wife
 
Just listen to the song,like really listen to it,the lyrics,your brother's got kids with your mother in law,but Jermaine had kids with his and Michael's sister in law,plus Michael said MFING kids,it's clear as day,it's also a diss to Joe since he cheated on Katherine and went to have a baby,there is another source out there but the only source I pay attention to is the actual song and the lyrics

But Jermaine had kids with Alejandra no sooner than 1996. I’m struggling to make the timeline work, because Monkey Business was recorded in the early 1990’s.
 
I've been provoked yet again from Agonum and the mods do nothing about it.

I assume bullying is ok in this forum then? Fair enough I bite back at him but he's honestly doing my nut in.

If you don't want threads turning to chaos, do something about it.

I mean to some of us monkey business is a classic that should've been released, and it almost was released on the special edition version of dangerous but the special edition version waa cancelled for some reason,some people don't like his unreleased work because most of the stuff are demos
