Why is MTV asking the public to vote for the King of Pop in their Music Royalty Event!

the only real pop act in that category is take that. maybe in a stretch you could maybe throw mark ronson and usher in there too, but as i say a stretch. i wouldnt worry too much about that though, there's no mtv generation any more. mtv isnt the global force of popular music as it once was. they're just trying to call attention to themselves with this kind of bs. i dont think theyre "coronation" of a new king of pop will catch on, and i have a little more faith in the world that they all know who the on true king is.

to me that way you make them clear that you're afraid, his crown can really be taken.
today King or Queen of something doesn't have the same relevance, as before.

Because they know that they will upset a lot of MJ-fans and will get traffic to their site. Everyone knows that KOP is attached to Michael. Don't give them the attention.

its sad they are looking for the new KOP because they know they fucked up when they gave him that award and tried to make him look the fool. There is no one under the sun that could fill Michael Jackson Patin Leather Loafers. so lets not worry about them placing a Phony crown on some low life rapper who couldn't sing a song to save his life. Im not worried. We all know who the TRUE King Of Pop is and they will never replace him.

Maybe we should try to make MJ known as the KING OF MUSIC or KING OF ENTERTAINMENT, like really. :mad:
 
I find it completely hilarious that MTV think they can crown a new King Of Pop, and most of the names on there are hip-hop artists soo...:doh:, nobody will call the winner the King Of Pop anyway, everyone knows MJ is called the King Of Pop, even children I know as young as 5 know that.
MTV is not even considered a music channel no more, as they don't even play music, they just want something to bring them in the news. MTV has become a joke, their award shows included, its all about popularity now, not talent.

MTV didn't crown Michael Jackson, therefore, can't take it! MTV gave themselves a lot of credits, bunch of ignorants. Someone needs to tell these knuckleheads: Michael Jackson made MTV. Ungrateful idiots.
 
I can't believe how many times the media desperately and ridiculously tried to give the KoP title to others than Michael. We remember that infamous Rolling Stone cover with Justin Timberlake in 2003, don't we? In the hindsight it looks utterly ridiculous. This will too.
 
Michael ain't no King Of Pop.

Bravo gave him the Triple Crown Award - King Of Pop, Rock & Soul.
