Roxanne they bring the magazine in the central newsstands in Athens and in the bookstore of Eleftheroudakis. We have checked it but they will bring it the first days of October![/b]

could be the other editions. the non michael ones. if it comes out on oct 3rd in italy i bet they wont bring it here till the end of the month
 
I hope the U.S stores don't get it too much later. The Lady at B&N said the current issue they have went on sale Sept. 2nd!
 
I think this is more than just a photo shoot, because it is almost like a "test" to see how the market reacts on MJ. He has been doing things in public after the trial, but this is him all alone on the front cover of a magazine. I have heard people who are not fans saying that they like the pictures, and that is very positive.
 
uhhhh, so vibe, tv guide, usa today, invincible booklet, 2003 calendar and that whole japan fan appreciation photo session never happened.

It's the Michael edition. We have double checked with the suppliers. We have pre-ordered the relevant issue! They said that between 5th and 10th October they will have it for us!

For the U.S. the 5th & 10th, or us as in Athins. When will it be in U.S. book stores? I can't get to an airport.
 
Hi, this has maybe been answered already, but I'm from Northern Ireland, any fans from here or the UK know if we'll be able to get our hands on this magazine without resorting to e-bay or something? What about in the ROI? Thanks

one shop said the 19th october but the majority of dates im being told are within 5 days or so of it going onsale in italy. so in other words it could be anytime lol


check out magazine cafe to buy online or online newsagent .co.uk. online do free delievery to the UK
 
and who the hell would pay that much for a magazine y'all know nothing about? i mean, sure, i collect mags but honestly, stressing out, scrambling, and worrying if u can get ur hands on it makes no sense.[/b]

You know what we should do while we're waiting for the mag to hit the stores? We should make a thread or post pics in this thread of past magazine covers/pics that he has been in or actually done a shoot for in say the past 10/15 years or so, just to catch everybody up! :D I would post some, but it's too hard for me to reach my scanner! :lol:

i agree. if you notice, michael has slowly but surely been making his presence felt- news of recordings with this and that, news of a tour on this and that...you know, i think these (including L'uomo thing) are all marketing tools for something that michael and his camp are cooking for the fans and non-fans alike. the fashion shoot is a pr strategy to bring michael more ahhh... what's the word...mainstream? look guys, he had a make-over! and yes, the response is pretty positive. these are all part of his "new" packaging, i think. madona does it all the time. u know to be in tune with today's trends

the one with the black jacket and the long hair extentions (LOL) used to be one of my favs. :)
 
Actually, when Michael was on the cover of TIME Magzine, it became I think the 3rd or 4th biggist selling issue in history, so Michael does move magazines, lol.

this is one of the reasons why we shld show our support to michael by actually buying L'uomo Vogue and not just be content for scans. how can he be the star that he is if we do not buy his records, magazines, his concerts. i mean the measure of any celebrity's status depends on sales. it's about patronage .think about it people....

Most of these showed up in various publications. The one with with MJ and Prince was part of the OK Magazine shoot that he did in 1997. :)

:yes: I completely agree! In my opinion, not buying the magazine is the same as just bootlegging an album!! The artist works hard with all their projects including magazine photoshoots. They do them so people will BUY the magazine, not just scan them onto the computer! And I think that if at all possible we should all try to get one!! :D :flowers: :heart:

Awwww, I want that OK mag!! I have the '97 Life mag & '97 National Enquierer mag with Prince, but not the OK onne :(
