Thanks! Now we can see how long the songs are on Wembley dvd. Some songs are shorter on the live CD than on the DVD.

Smooth Criminal (4:11)? That's not even the 2001 album version, but the single mix.
 
From what I'm looking at, most songs are shorter. Why would that be?
 
Sony always lists the new album version as 4:11 for some reason, which makes me think they just took the times from a spreadsheet or some other database of information they have. If they did that and it's wrong, we might get the original album mixes after all.

You could be right. It is probably some copy+paste job from some spreadsheet created years ago.
 
Do you guys have any idea when snippets will be available on sites such as amazon etc etc?

Last year, when Immortal came out, the snippets from all the tracks came out 6-7 days before it's release iirc.

Though I love the fact that the songs are being released and I adore MJ. He was a perfectionist and everytime something is released and I hear it that guilty conscience of mine says, No no.... Michael would be very unhappy that he did not get the last say in all of this."
But none the less I am sill excited.

So no "The Way You make Me Feel" on the DVD?, How can you have a MJ Bad concert with no TWYMMF?, a bit disappointing to be honest. They should have included NEW audio interviews with Quincy, Bruce, Sediah, Steve Stevens, Stevie wonder and anyone who worked on the album, apart from that it looks pretty good, my most anticipated music project for 2012 even 25 years later

Like it was said, I don't think Michael would have minded. He's released multiple unfinished demos in the past (most notably the 1981 demo of Billie Jean on Thriller SE 2001 and the 1994 demo of In the Back on The Ultimate Collection).

I think that person just meant that with these releases, Michael doesn't have the last say...With TUC and the demos on it, he did have the last say in what he wanted to share musically :)

TWYMMF is on the dvd as a bonus :). I Disagree, i dont think audio interviews is neccesary, they just take up time on the CD that can be used for unreleased songs.
 
I have a question and I dont know where to ask. I preordered a box set on amazon and it says it should arrive between sept 21 and oc 9. Is that normal? I thought you get it on the day of release! :S
 
Depends on your shipping speed and when they physically have the item in their posession.
Sometimes you might get it even before the release date (the saturday or monday before).
It might just say that because of the listed released date.

Guess you'll have to wait and see.
